Hello, all

I know there's already an 'Introduce Yourself' thread up on the main page but I thought I'd put one up here in the Cafe as well (so it's just for us book readers). Please take a moment to drop in and say hi, maybe tell us a little bit about yourself....or just tell us what type of books you like to read.

Im 26 from philippines, a nurse and currently studying to get my bachelors in secondary education..i love reading romance book ...anything as long as its romance and it has happy endings....i love reading, i started with the free comics on a bubble gum wrapper when i was little...then comics then local romance book...this site has given me so much

im so happy that im a member..and very thankful for all of you guys that makes this site perfect

I'm in Ohio, it's COLD, I'm old and I live with Multiple Sclerosis so I snuggle up with a book...whether it's paper or ebook. I've got 5 bookcases of paper books and 45+ gigs of ebooks. I guess I'm one of those ... "Gotta Have It" type person.

I randomly searched for a book thru google...and found "Share Term Papers" a few weeks back. I'm still working out the brain bugs on sharing...once I've got it in my head I'll be sharing ebooks with all, too!
I started reading at 10 ... my first book was Beverly Cleary's "FIfteen".

I love to read Paranormal, Erotic, Historical Rom, Comp, and just about anything else I can get my hands on.

My fav's are ... Lara Adrian, J.R. Ward, Hannah Howell, Lisa Kleypas, Lynne Graham, Lucy Monroe, Kat Martin, Mary Balogh, Lynsay Sands, Stephanie Meyer, Amanda Ashley, Christine Feehan, Penny Jordan, Betty Neels, Jennifer Ashley, Karen Marie Moning and a HOST of others...

Looks like we like similar authors! I had a giggle when I saw Betty Neels - My Mum reads those all the times and I use to sneak them from under her bed to read when I was 14

I am going to work through the authors you like that I haven't read now and see if I like those too

I'm interested in anything that involves writing. Oh, I love playing the piano too. Aaaand I blog a lot. My favorite genres are YA, psychological/medical/archaeological thriller, fantasy and chick lit.

I love cats, anime and manga. I also read a lot in my spare time (when I'm in the mood I can read 50 pages in a hour so I finish books very quickly if they are interesting) but I hate to study. I also love to do nothing (Lool) and to just listen to music (that's why I sleep so little... cause I'm listening to music). I also enjoy reading fanfiction and sometimes I write one or another (usually I just start writing and left the docs unfinished on my computer) AND I'm horribly lazy

Hi! I'm Bell and, like most if not all of you, I love to read.

Even though I love to read, it's one of the things I've been neglecting for a few years. I hope this site will help me get started on a more literary life?

I like a little bit of everything, (Paranormal, Adventures, Sci-fi, even though I haven't got the chance to read many...), but I guess the genre I end up reading most is Romance (the M/M type).

I do love a funny book, and I'm currently trying to get started on Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (because I love zombies and I can't wait for the Zombie Apocalypse).

Hi im katz and im a mom to a very enthusiastic and active 5 year old. I came upon this site while googling for pdfs of books. Im really glad i found this site and people kind enough to share. Im a newbie here and i will upload some from my own files. Ive also just appreciated pdfs and epubs and really love it its really hard moving house lugging around boxes of my books. Really heavy boxes! More power to all of us people here hehehe!

I have actually 'tried' to read while driving....not very easy to do! i get too absorbed in the books....

Traffic is horrendous in the Philippines where I live, hence, yes, I read while drive! Hi, my name is Kathy and I live in Metro Manila, Philippines where traffic is really bad (as previously mentioned). I manage to read my Kindle (I love my Kindle!) maybe about 10 - 15 pages (depending on the traffic) while driving to and from work. I am a book addict just like most of you. I am mostly hooked on YA right now. I got my Kindle about November last year and have never read so much books since then, thanks to STP!

I got my daughter her own kindle right after I got mine coz I love it so much. I am hooked on YA right now because I want to read what my daughter is reading

Hi all! I'm Skye. I've been addicted to books ever since I can remember. I discovered STP last October while searching online for an elusive e-book. I didn't realize that a lot of people actually read the genre I'm currently addicted to until I saw the thread here (yeay, I'm not alone!)

I have a couple of boxes of (eclectic)books my dad has been itching to burn. Spent about half of my life in high school inside the library (the word geek stamped on my forehead glows in the dark). I started getting a life in college (had my share of rock concerts, hangovers, cramming for midterm exams and borrowing my friend's copy of the latest harry potter book).

Now, I'm all grown up and reading m/m books. Don't tell my parents. Seriously.
