I love A Forest Fire by Bedelia Thanks for thinking of me. I'm a big Vamp Jasper fan. Weird how there's more Jasper/Bella stories than Jasper/Alice. I think he has such a great back story that S. Meyer did absolutely nothing with...

Thank Goodness for Fanfiction!!

I absolutely can't do Jasper/Bella Stories, I will save them In RTF (Thanks flagfic) and go through the document to save it as Edward/Bella & Jasper/Alice. I don't think S.Meyer did enough with Jasper's character but one thing she did was create some beautiful love stories and the fanfic stories that change those drive me up a wall. I can't read em lol. I don't get it, the ultimate satisfaction with the books was she created unforgettable characters with the amazing love stories (she is not a good writer) so why ruin that?

Some of the fanfiction authors have come up with brilliant reasons as to why E/B aren't together anymore. The first Jasper/Bella I read was totally by accident. I didn't realize it wasn't E/B and kept waiting for it to end up that way. LOL. It was an incredibly well written story, and the reason for the differences in couples was that Chelsea had come by and touched them, severing the mating bond. It was then explained that they no longer felt anything but familial love for their one time mate. It was a really long time for the new bonds to form with different couples. It was such an amazing story with a gradual build to the relationship that I was okay with it, even though I kept expecting them to find a way to reverse it LOL.

Once I popped my non-canon cherry, it was easy to continue

Hi, does anyone have a copy of malarial Marie's story Bad Moon Rising and the sequel and prequel, Here comes the Sun and Catastrophes Come in Waltzes? They were a Jasper/Bella story, where Jasper returns after the Cullens leave in New Moon and starts sending letters to Bella.

Here's Bad Moon Rising. I'll check my other hard drive for the other two in a bit (if someone else doesn't beat me to it).

Content: Chapter 1 to 26 of 26 chapters

Summary: Bella finds she isn't forgotten after all- in fact, she's front and centre for Jasper Whitlock, and it's a war
between guilt and love for both of them as they struggle to define themselves and each other. AU after the Cullens leave in
New Moon.

I have figured out that I have been reading ffn since 2008. I didn't start saving until 2010. Two stories that I remember reading back then have disappeared. No one has been able to help with title or author. So if I tried to rewrite what is no longer available is that plagiarism?

I wouldn't do it because I am not a writer but would it?

You have to download a *lot* before this happens - in the past two years, I've only blocked five people. All five were immediately unblocked once they contacted me to explain what they were doing - I don't mind heavy users, provided they don't spoil the service for others. The main reason I block users is to ensure that whatever is doing the downloading is a real person, rather than someone's automated download script run amok etc.

I don't block generally anyone unless they download several thousand stories within a single 14 day period. Unless your thirst for downloading is truly gargantuan, you won't have any problems.

Um, isn't that what fanfiction is?! I mean, every single Twific story is based on Stephenie Meyer's original work and we use her characters, her plotlines, and many times her quotes within the context of our fanfiction stories, so why would it be any different if you re-wrote a fanfiction story? Now I'm curious. What are the 2 story summaries/plots, pairings, etc.? I started saving in 2009, but I didn't start organizing until about 5 minutes ago (I need a life coach or professional organizer). I also have tons of old ffnet email alerts saved in my inbox that I can search through if that would help determine title/author.

I can actually think of an example of what you are talking about, a fanfic that used characters, plot, and themes present in another.

Did I think of the second as plagiarism? Yes, and so did the author, who, if you look at the reviews for the second, did not seem flattered. And this is the example I thought of when I wrote that. If it's a similar plotline, big deal. When you start using the themes and the exact same words, then I think a case can be made. Fifty Shades, I think, is different, because while it was started as a fanfic, it was published as an original work or fiction. In that case, I would say it's fair grounds for fanfics to be written about it. A fanfic of a fanfic, though... I don't know.

That said, if it's a fic and author who have been gone for years, does any of this even apply? Probably not, and unless it was a hugely popular story, not many people would probably even make the connection between the two.

Am I making sense?

Hi guys. i finished reading Unexpected by oohlalaaa. it was ok, a completely diff. Edward from what I normally read. Still canon pairings but the 6 were all a little OOC. Hmm, piercings there, oh my!!

just started Pen Pals by covermeinfeathers and am enjoying it so far. Am at chapter 6 and UST abound

Yup, agree with some comments and felt that Help Wanted was too long. But still, it was a good read for me and still recommend it. After that marathon read, as you can see, am switching to stories with less than 500 pages

Any new recs out there? Can't wait for Sideline Collision to be completed so I can read it. same for Dusty. Though am keeping track of Lullabies and Eternal Love by emmamama88. after reading its prequel Virgins and villains and companion piece Love Rescue Me, am not too stressed that its a WIP so i started reading it. Guess having "invested" much time and "connecting" with the characters in VV and LRM, i feel like they're "family" and can bide my time to see the story unfold. not unless cliffhangers are introduced in the next updates gahh.. Still not touching WIPs except for this one. Am i weird to feel this way? Or finally made peace and agreed with myself to just embrace my addiction to a certain exten then

I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I have a feeling that I was reading fics that probably didn't have high followers. I never looked at reviews nor if they had any. For all I know, I was the only one.

I am trying to remember a fic! Bella is a real estate agent. Edward I think is a building inspector. Bella is checking out a property and there is an earthquake. Edward happens to check out the building, finds Bella but they can't get out. Another quake hits and they think this is it. Adding to the rock and rolling are E/B. They get rescued. They never exchange numbers due to the chaos of the rescue. She becomes pregnant and they meet again in an ob office. Edward is with Rosalie because Emmett is out of town? Anyway, rocky road ahead but then there is an HEA. Anyone know the name or author? Canon

I am looking for a story of Bella owning a tavern, bar, pub and helps a guy (Edward is an actor) running from fans and hides in her stairwell while the fans run out the back. A crazy stalker (Jessica?) who tried to take Bella out. Rose being in the catering business. Emmett was in construction and a bouncer for the bar. Alice and Jasper were coupled also. Plus a few more details. Any help?

I know several people have tried looking for the first. It was even posted on facebook. Awesome!

This is incorrect - flagfic has set the metadata description / summary since May 2011. If you have noticed a missing summary when selecting the book in Calibre, please let me know the URL of the story (ideally via the contact page on the flagfic site) so I can investigate and fix the issue.

Hey guyz i am searching for some new story to read..It should be well-writtten and proper charcter development in story.. not too much angsty, not too much fluffy.Anything like humor & Drama gener..Extra mention i dont want to read anything which has oh so cannon charcater like annoying bossy alice, or other character too much involved in story or just pop out of nowhere.

Recently i read "Giant Golden tour", "Home where you are", Hideous Cygnus..Absoultly loved those stories.Any recommendation??
