Hey can anyone help me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease.....I'm looking for a story that I found on fanfiction...

Where Bella was married to James and he was in the mafia...who beat and raped Bella regularly until I believe he died but his family wanted revenge...Bella moved away and constructed a house that was invader safe....one day she decided to go and get some gas and ran into some of James family who tried to rape her but Edward's family installed an emergency button in her car that could tape the whole conversation and a GPS....while she was being attacted by Caius, Edward and Emmett were able to get to Bella and bring who to Isle Esme where she is safe....also Edward and his whole family, Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice and Jasper are all vampires....

that is all I remember...it has been over two years since I read this story...

I've taken down The Price of Blood and The Long Road Home for the time being. Maybe always. I ask for respect and if I can't get it, then I'm over it. At this point, I'm over stupid people. I'm sorry to those of you who are loyal to me and follow all of my craziness. 95% of you I appreciate in a way that I can't describe. I'll post something on my blog later. In the meantime, I'm going to focus on my original stuff until I get myself sorted out. Love you, guys. -M

I searched for this, found the links posted by Fanficgirl, but both pdf and mobi links only go to the Simply-Me ficlist, not an actual story download and its not in the first post with the long download list. Not sure where I am going wrong, can anyone help ? I would prefer the pdf version.

You can easily convert between file types using an online converter like You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login We try not to upload fics multiple times to save server space. The mobi file is posted here : You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I know that this dislike is linked to fanfic downloading formats, but I like PDFs and I’m not ashamed to admit it! That's right! You heard me - I LIKE PDFs and I’ll even tell you why:

1.   I don’t own an ereader so I read everything on my laptop or desktop. I just like reading PDFs vs. other formats on this screen (I have Kindle for PC, Sony Reader for PC, and Calibre).

2.   I’ve been in a University setting forever. We can’t install software on any of our computers due to restrictions from admin. We have to use the University approved/pre-installed software. None of that software supports epub, mobi, etc. All we get is adobe acrobat (and that’s a luxury). When I want to read a story at work or between classes it has to be in html or PDF format.

3.   Sharing data (computer-to-computer) is sometimes difficult in a world of 20 different versions of the same software. When sharing data with other schools/agencies, the PDF format has been the easiest to use. The only time it doesn’t work is when someone doesn’t have a PDF reader (this has only happened to me once). The same applies to stories. I know a few of my friends read on their laptops, so PDFs are just fine for them.

4.   I come from a place where people are still using the old school overhead projectors (you know with the light bulb that always seems to burn out in the middle of the presentation). Some of our professors don’t make any of their materials available online or in electronic format. Students are required to pay an additional $100-$200 just to copy assigned readings for a course. You should see us when someone takes the time to scan something and create a free PDF - it's like Christmas!

5.   They’re just sexy – don’t hate

Good enough reasons, lol. We won't hate,

I use my laptop, my kobo touch and/or my phone to read. On my laptop, I use Calibre to download fanfics, and to store all my ebooks in two different libraries (sorting fanfics from regular books). I usually download in epub format but if .mobi or PDF is what is available, then I can use Calibre to convert it if I want to transfer it to my phone or my Kobo. PDFs can be read on my kobo, but it's difficult because I can't make the font bigger or change the type and sometimes it doesn't all fit in the screen if I try to make it larger since it doesn't change just the print but the page as a whole. When you convert a PDF to another format, it doesn't convert correctly. All sorts of strange things happen to it, and it becomes very difficult to read. So if I HAVE to have something in PDF, then I will read it on my phone using officesuite and adobe acrobat. On my computer, I read epubs with Adobe Digital Editions (it's free). I can see two pages at once, like a real paper book, or I use OpenOffice if it's in PDF, and the Kindle app for mobi (but in that case I usually just go ahead and convert it to epub).

But the bottom line is that I will read anything in anyway I can get it, and am just happy to have options!!!!

Am saving up to buy an ipad4, whenever that will be released as apple is known for quickly improving its gadgets

Thanks! I agree with you on all points! I do love my iPad and i love it for all the reasons you've mentioned, plus I can sync it with my iPhone and my MacBook so all of my stuff is everywhere. My only beef with the iPad (I have the newer 16 GB, Wi-Fi version of the first model) is that it eats battery power like crazy and with my Otter Box case it weighs so much it's hard to hold up for long periods. Even with my glare screen, it's still not easy to read in the sun. My thoughts on getting a reader (Kindle Fire) were so that I could take it to the pool, and then the possibility of using mobi and epub files was appealing too. After doing some research over the weekend, I'm thinking that I might wait for the iPad Tablets we may be hearing about on Sept. 12th. I love my iPad, just wish it was smaller and weighed less! We'll see what they come out with soon!

If it helps, the newer ones are lighter. Also, if you want an ereader to use in the sun, get a regular kindle. The kindle fire will have the same issues as your ipad. Also it is cheaper. Why spend the money on something that is not as good as your ipad and offers no additional benefit. Also if you read with the kindle app on the ipad, you should be able to sync the kindle apps so your stories are in the same location.
