I think this is just what I needed for my slump.. Is anyone else reading this? It's a WIP but it's hilarious. My family keeps giving me funny looks cause I will all the sudden bust out laughing..

I hadn't seen it, but I just went and put it on alert. It's at 20 chapters. I just read Surviving Bella yesterday, and started Win Some, Lose Some by savage7289 Tonight (still listed as a WIP, but according to the a/n, all she has left is the epilogue) Maybe I'll start that one next. Thanks for the rec, I could use something funny.

Gee, my last vacation was spent unpacking my spare room. I should probably mention we moved in 4 years ago. Sigh.

I need to do that too but I have one of my brothers helping me out so that means that I get to boss him around and make him do the heavy stuff

I, for the life of me, can't seem to remember the name of this fic that I read a couple of months ago. It's Edward/Bella and Bella has been adopted by Esme and Carlisle. She doesn't talk anymore ever since her parents were killed and she was almost murdered too. Anytime she tries to talk she freezes up in a panic attack. Alice moves in next door and she shows Bella that they can communicate with a whiteboard, and eventually Bella communicates through sign language. Bella has scars all over her body from barely surviving the attack that killed her parents. She has nightmares every night until Esme comes up with the idea to have campouts in the living room so when she wakes up she sees everyone is with her. She thinks if she speaks that somebody will die, because the last time she made a noise, the killers found her and her parents and killed them. I can summarize the story more, but I can't find it anywhere, or the name of it.

I've never read this, but I remember saving it for later.

I don't know why I can't take a vacation work is soooooo slow right now but there are only five of us at work right now. Hubby (owner) Me (HR Manager, you didn't think I got a job on my credentials did ya, I'm sleeping with the boss) Owner number 2 (Jon) His wife and the estimator.. so very very slow but the good news is I get to read at work, play on facebook, twitter, here lol. I'm a bad employee very bad..

Now i'm torn between having a job like yours (looks like a very fun work environment, allowing you to do non work related stuff and still be assured your boss won't fire you lol) or a job like mine where you are given 15 days paid leave a year but you're on call 24x7... I dont know, your job seems far more better!

Am now midway through Maybe im falling for you a collab by coldplaywhore and flightlessbird11. It reminded me of Tropic of Virgo but E/B here are older. Am enjoying it so far but want to hit Bella for thinking bec her parents divorced, she will have the same fate and thus avoid relationships. Can't wait how sweet Edward convinces her otherwise.

I was planning on reading emotional warfare but am in my stage of wanting to read famouswards or more successful wards. When i go back to my HS phase, will start on that one recd by Ella.

I also started reading beautiful dirty rich but i cant connect with HS kids screwing each other, mixing up the canon pairings just for mindless sex. Guess am still "conservative" at heart and can really only stand to read canon pairings

So we were talking about work and it's that time of the month again (not that TIME) but once a month I get a pretty spectacular view out of my office window *Sigh* We're a Fabrication shop so it's a pretty big building outside of town in an area we call "The Port" (no there is no water, I have no idea why it's called that) anyway it's industrial but we do have an airport *smacks forehead that is why it's called the port) anyway we have a skydiving school and once a month guess who takes lessons there?

* bouncing in seat* Men in uniform ladies, they come in droves on buses, in cars, hell they might even parachute in and I get to watch all of these studs for a whole day once a month and today is that day. *Wipes drool from chin* and today there has to be at least a hundred to feast my eyes on. Good lord they get to go home to some lucky ladies... Back to peeping...

Since you brought drabble up... I am not fan of it either, although I have been reading this one. Just curious, do a lot of readers like it for a quick fix? Is this the new "it" of ff? Are writers just looking for a way to either make a short story longer or trying to keep the interest a the reader?

Just trying to understand the concept.

Speaking of work. I work at a Country Inn. You would not believe the *hawtness* that come here! Everything from soap actors and some regular actors (sorry I don't follow soaps so I have no idea who most are) to bicycle groups and the men are in such good shape and sweaty and just yeah! And I think, can I show you to your room, start the jacuzzi for you, help you with your shower, how about a glass of wine on the deck. Hmmm... Then I go back to my office and daydream... A LOT!!!

I'm not a fan of drabbles either. I just don't get it? Maybe I'm too lazy to constantly be scrolling or loading the next page. And I miss the flow of more conventional writing. *shrugs*

And work - I teach, but I teach people that work in the nuclear industry not at a school. I get to travel once in a blue moon. I generally just teach at several different companies close to home. Mostly I watch the people that are forced to take one of my classes try not to fall asleep
