Give me some options of.......angst with a happy ending. I have a funny fluffy one lined up to immediately follow it and my wips are wrapping up so it is time to start another completed fic.

Ok, Hit me girls. There is RobPorn for prizes, just at the end of your recommendations tell me what era.

If you haven't read Darkness by cherry.blossomz or Learn You Inside Out by wolfpgirl, I would rec adding to tbr.

If I was at my computer, I would be able to rec some more.  Unfortunately, I'm going off the top of my head while waiting for friends at a bar.

Popped my ff cherry with Darkness on chp 1 as a WIP no less.

Well, mostly I try to read humor or a mix that has humor in it.  Okay so recent angsty reads include:
Failure to Thrive by Julesnerd - it was mostly good but slow in spots
Edward Cullen, Dick for Hire by FictionFreak95 - this was good.
Turkey Baster by Counselor - I'm not sure about this one.  I liked it, but it seemed to rush to the end in a way.
But my favorite angsty ones are things like Wide Awake, Hit by Destiny, Fridays at Noon, things like that...

Haven't read any of them except FaN

You like angst and you haven't read Wide Awake?  W.T.F?  I'm generally not a fan of high school fics but I make an exception for that and Dead on My Feet by Cesca Marie.  Wide Awake is seriously awesome angst.  Just don't bother reading the epi.

Both are pretty long.  Both are high school.  Edward is very mean at first in Hit by Destiny.  Renee is crazy.  But it was so good I re-read it.

Wide Awake I kept putting off reading because I wasn't sure if I would like it.  Edward and Bella are neighbors who both suffer from insomnia due to past trauma.  They meet while trying to stay awake. It is really good & I'd probably re-read it, but it is 900+ pages on my nook.  Yeah.

No for some reason I just keep skipping over Wide Awake. No, I have only read 2-3 H.S. fics, they are NOT for me.
So the epi of Wide awake is like Savage on Surviving Bella where she warned NOT to read it. I did, I was pissed off.

I agree, you must read Wide Awake.  Have you read Closer, California Waiting, Crawl and Revelry by TeamBella23?  All 4 have some of the craziest angst I've ever read.  I can still remember biting my nails waiting for the updates.

2 more HEA completed recs I remembered before I start ordering drinks:
-The Teenage Angst Brigade by jandco
-The Caged Bird by Kristen Nicole

Not quite as bad as that, but as far as I'm concerned the fic has a nice HEA ending.  The epi kinda puts things back up in the air a bit?  I don't know if she was originally planning a sequel maybe?  But yeah, my advice is to not bother reading it.

I don't read HS fics either, but this one is worth it.

Has anyone read Poughkeepsie?  I have had to leave this one and come back several times.  There is so much going on and sometimes it is just so out there for me.  Does it straighten out for lack of a better way to say that?  About a fifth of the way through it...  Anyone?  Thank you!

You could be right, although I'm happy to see him take a sip from bottles or cans.  I think I officially became a pervert when I started visiting Rob fan sites and compounded the problem when I started reading fanfiction.  I have 3 kids, but my s#x education was sadly lacking.
