I have never done that. Does Ella not like surprises?

I don't necessarily need spoilers, just that all is ok in the end. The middle I can deal with as long the end is ok.
Kinda like The Red Line that I read as a WIP. Dear jeez, the tissue makers were wealthy during that time and I contributed my fair share. But no matter the shit, pain, and suffering Edward went through, he survived a better person and in love.
I don't mind surprises.  I do read a lot of mysteries & don't check the ends.  Just got into the habit with Harlequin Romances - if I liked the last chapter the rest was usually good.  Most people read the first chapter lol! I read the last.  >:D

Yeah, there  is an HEA in that both Edward and Bella are still alive.  But not with each other.  Actually, after reading the end, I might be able to read it.  But think more Stephen King type happy ending.   :P

Must have changed it up a bit since I read it.  I do not recall the ending quite like that and I am not going to reread it.

Yeah, definately not the usual HEA.  Edward is a serial killer but Bella survives.

The writing was excellant and the plot exciting til the end.  Shock value supreme!

Just scanned it.  No HEA there.  But it is a short story, so it looks pretty quick.

Have you read Finding My Thunder by counselor (completed) or the WIP Wisp by Cris?  For Wisp, you have to read the backstory found in the author's blog. I almost never cry, but I was bawling.

Well, I'm way behind you in reading stories, I'm sure, so most of the angsty stuff I've liked you would have read a while ago.  But this is on my TBR list and a quick glance at the end shows an HEA for Edward and Bella - that's all that really matters right?

I started to read the back story.  I quit it fast.  I can't read that.  I love Wisp and I can guess all the stuff that happened to her.  But no way can I read it.

Def add Finding My Thunder by counselor to your tbr list.

If you haven't read Darkness by cherry.blossomz or Learn You Inside Out by wolfpgirl, I would rec adding to tbr.

If I was at my computer, I would be able to rec some more.  Unfortunately, I'm going off the top of my head while waiting for friends at a bar.

Well, mostly I try to read humor or a mix that has humor in it.  Okay so recent angsty reads include:
Failure to Thrive by Julesnerd - it was mostly good but slow in spots
Edward Cullen, Dick for Hire by FictionFreak95 - this was good.
Turkey Baster by Counselor - I'm not sure about this one.  I liked it, but it seemed to rush to the end in a way.
But my favorite angsty ones are things like Wide Awake, Hit by Destiny, Fridays at Noon, things like that...
