I've been searching the different genres using the new search tool and found that the top Angst fic of all statuses is actually a one-shot called Unplanned by jennde  followed by Unexpected Circumstances by Savage7289 (based on average reviews per chapter.)  Ladies, I had tears streaming down my face after reading this one.  Grab the tissue!

I read this many moons ago and it made me cry like a fool.  The only other fic that has made me cry like that was Hit By Destiny by ocdmess You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  (ocdmess has now stopped writing ff which is such a shame.)

With that being said, I put both stories on my kindle EP the complete version with outtakes and interviews and that came to almost 43 thousand pages. Sempre only came to almost 14 thousand pages. I instantly got nervous realizing so much had been cut out of the story.. 

EP is one of my top 2 stories ever. I loved this story hard it has it all! Like most people I could have lived without the redundancy  of the chapters in different POV's with that said it didn't bother me so much in this story because the E & B were from two different spectrum's of the same world. I found it interesting to read her POV and understand her innocence in all things pertaining to "normal Life" and the consequences for anything others saw fit to punish her for, as opposed to his flippant way of life and hardly any consequences for his actions. I loved watching the love story blossom between these two the way it was written was superb. I loved the ride that EP took me on. Everything about this story screamed "Movie in the making". One of the reasons I decided to read all of them was because in my humble opinion EP was a thousand times better than Fifty Shades or Master of the Universe plot wise. I couldn't figure out why Sempre was bypassed by the "Powers that Be". *shakes head*

It didn't take long to figure out why. I read Sempre Forever and didn't feel it so much was left out. The building of the relationship between Carmine & Haven was rushed. Too many POV's (no redundancy, which is good for those of you that didn't like it) most of the action from EP was left out. No mafia princess connection! (that was one twist that I freaking loved) in other words Sempre was easily forgettable where as EP kept me on the edge of my seat. I feel like she would have been better off in creating either a sequel or trilogy.

Hi tami!

So finally took the plunge and started reading EP. Am loving it so far, am only at page 600 out of 1943. Surprisingly, i have not had the urge to put it down considering its length. It is so well written that i am sooo into it. Like offside, i've been shedding tears for Bella and Edward here. The scenes with carlisle's gun and james attempted attack were so riveting for me. When my heart pounds or aches while reading is an indication for me what i'm reading is great. Have had that feeling for most part of EP, and am not even halfway!!

 I have no intention of reading Sempre specially with your comments. Am already at that point where bella's bloodline is being hinted at so i can't imagine that part not being included in Sempre as it would appear to be a major plot twist in EP.

You mentioned about outtakes and interviews for EP. Where can i download that? I haven't gone to the end of my EP copy to check as i don't want to inadvertantly read the ending. I got my pdf copy from here

Totally agree..HBD is 1 of my  most fav fic   in top 3 list.I never been fan of angsty fic as much as for this one..Its not depressing angst.it has addicted angst.It really  such shame that  wonderful writer left fandom.

HBD is totally addictive, I stayed up all night to read it with a thumping headache because I had been crying so much!

I think I must be the only one in the fandom who didn't really get into Hit By Destiny? I started but flounced about halfway through...I don't remember why now so maybe I should give it another go?

On another note, I started Close Your Eyes last night since Carano finished it and wow. I couldn't stop reading! I'm about halfway through and it's really good.

Close Your Eyes was awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  As for HBD its not to everyone's taste, if you have read half way and didn't like it you are not likely to change your mind.  There is so much to read out there why stick to something that doesn't appeal?

I agree! I doubt I'll go back but who knows. I can't remember why I stopped reading, is there bad grammar in it? I only ask that b/c from the summary this looks like a fic I would love, so I wonder why I did quit. Maybe this fic was just a casualty of my ADD 

You are asking the wrong person when it comes to grammar but I don't think so.  Edward is a real horrid pain in the arse in the fic & he doesn't improve for a long time, I know that this put some people off. I am ashamed to admit I could never get on with the Emancipation Proclamation.  I know its a great fic and all but I could not read it and I tried a number of times.

I started Close Your Eyes, but didn't make it past the second chapter. I don't deal well with current abuse and for some reason, I can't deal with sweet nice Carlisle being a bad guy. How bad is it? Maybe I should read it backwards because I know Carano will give it a happy E/B ending

I flounced on that one as well lol. I actually liked the plot and writing but the fact that everything was told in both POV's was too redundant. I think I lost interest around chapter 30 or so. You are not alone lol

Actually, I really like things told from different pov's.  it helps get into the characters head, well that is what I think but each to their own.
