Yes, exactly. The detached telling of the story. It is random and not consistent, and a little confusing at times.  Is that how all her stories are?

I didn't flounce. I read the entire story even though the "Frig" instead of "Fridge" or "Refrigerator", was bugging me to death. But, thankfully after chapter 68 she started calling it a fridge.

I liked the plot quite a bit. Just found it hard to get into since it was so detached and a bit scrambled.

I'll have to try that one out. I really like the summaries too. Her stories sound so good and I've seen so many people rec them. I just had a difficult time reading the one I picked up first. Hopefully it isn't like that for all of them, for me.

Reading a prego Bella story and her water broke, six weeks early. Ok, sure. But, then it says that she went to the hospital and they gave her drugs and did everything they could to STOP the labor. WTF? You can't stop labor after the water has broke. As far as I know from personal experience at least, I was told that if I didn't deliver vaginally by the 24 hour mark after the water broke they were taking me in for a C-section as it becomes dangerous after that point.  Am I wrong?

Ughhhhhhh I just spent hours trying to make my way through Boookworm Baby's "Everlasting" which seemed really cool with the AU twist on immortality. Not vampires, but immortal nonetheless. I'm halfway through the story where the big reveal comes and they're explaining that they're all really old and have been around for more than a century and Edward's demons are put on the table and dumb teenage Bella has no sense of self preservation just like Twilight book Bella.

Just flounced because I am not here for a teenage girl being used that way. Plus she was sexually assaulted by James earlier in the story and was suffering from panic attacks but she's all cool and happy to be with Edward after that?! No no.

Maybe I'm just over reacting but it was just such a strange reaction and the events that led up to it were just a mess. It's well written and mirrors Twilight in the sense that these people are immortal and of course there's self flagellation on Edward's part because he's this tortured soul that feels like he has the world on his shoulders over events he couldn't control BUT, he's a giant butthole to Bella for the first half of the story because he's trying to prevent her from loving him, and we find out why he's this giant butthole and everything is a-okay. There's no apologies made on his part, and Bella is just...content with the situation?

I skipped ahead towards the end to see if the plot changed and there was another Twilight twist. Bella turns out to be like every other teenager with raging hormones and wants to get it on with her boyfriend, but Edward doesn't want to demean her with his kinky sexual appetite.  Now he wants to be a gentleman and treat her like a lady. UGH!

There are so many fics like that - Edwards a real A-hole and doesn't have many (if any) redeeming qualities about him but Bella and every other woman want him.
At least if he's gonna be an A-hole make sure that at some point during the fic he works towards redemption, so there's a real point about why Bella would want him other than his looks.
