It's pretty good.  The characters are a little too OOC for my tastes, but the writing is very good.  I'm trying to recall specifically why I didn't love it and I think it was just because the characters were a little too harsh?  I don't mind badass, but I guess I need a reason for them to be that way...

It doesn't look too long, so I'll give it a try.

It looks interesting, can you give a brief synopsis? It doesn't say much in the fic- description place, lol!

Damn. More new shiny! Must stop reading first chapters!

There are so many fics recc'd on here that sound awesome but are Bella/Jasper :( I've tried to read this pairing and I can't. I don't like the southern twang that seems to be included in most of these stories. Are there any fics that don't have Jasper with a heavy southern background? VeryOOC maybe?

Urgh. The southern drawl annoys me too. I think mostly because I hate the way it reads, if it was all spoken it would be fine. There is something about reading 'y'all' and 'darlin'' that gives me the heeby jeeby shivers. Drives me absoloutly bonkers (funnily enough when I've had too much to drink or am a tad hyper I write with the most bogan language imaginable, despite my upper class English upbringing... :D). But I'll suffer though it if the writing is good.

I'm pretty sure Sketchbook Revelations by PolkaDotMama didn't have Jasper drawling all over the place.

Hi Guys!  Hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful election returns here in the U.S.!   Anyway, not sure if its OK to ask here, but I've lost a story and I can't remember the title or author.

Bella is a publisher and Edward's boss.  He hates her but works with her because he wants his novel published.  Somehow she cons him into pretending to be her boyfriend while her parents visit and they eventually fall in love.   Can't for the life of me remember the title but I know I was at least half-way through it and then I got sidetracked with some shiny new toy!  Any help is appreciated since I'm officially a brain donor and my TBR list is so long nothing is ringing any bells!

 :pulling
Thanks to all those who have shared stories with me, and "you're welcome" to those who have enjoyed mine!

I think it may be this one:

Terms and Conditions Apply by TheSaintsMistress
There's only one person on this earth that Edward Cullen hates, and that's his boss...Bella Swan. She's cold. She's ruthless and incapable of human emotion, and to Edward's greatest frustration, the hottest woman walking the face of the planet.

It's complete at 33 Chapters.

And I'm so happy about the election results (even if I'm not American)! Such wonderful news!

I'm currently trying to read You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. It is really well written and I like the storyline, but for some reason I get tired with it after every few chapters...

THAT'S IT - THANK YOU!   Yes, I'm a happy camper now in more ways than one!   Very happy about our president and thrilled to have the missing fic back again!   Trying to finish up the plethora of fics that I've left hanging for various reasons....I am easily distracted and read based on my mood so I have at least 20 things going at once!

I ended up liking Lessons Unexpected. Not a fave, I doubt it'll be a reread, but it was enjoyable and pretty well written. I would have liked to have seen more about why/how Jasper ended up the way he was, I didn't feel that was fleshed out enough.

Yes, I saw lots of footage from London and it's amazing how much coverage you guys got about our election!  Almost rivaled our own!   We tend to forget sometimes how much what happens here affects so much more of the world!   :singing

Errr? No argument there. Yes, I'm afraid I do have to agree with you :'( You have my heartfelt sympathies. It is F**k-up what is happening in Greece...And it looks like the UK will be butting heads with the EU next as our government has voted "no" on an increase in the money we pay into the EU so...But don't get me started on politics we'll be here all night

I was up all night watching it live with the BBC. I didn't go to bed until they called Ohio which was at around 05.00 GMT...But to be fair I'm a political junkie so...I was in California stuffing envelopes for the Democratic party 08 and then went to Washington for the inauguration.
