(my fic ADD is out of control right now, as I've started yet a different one)

Though, I'm loving this one.

I had to share the typo I just read:

"I placed my hand over hers, luxuriating in the feel of her warm, silky sink."

 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That aside, it's a very good fic so far :)

That's the one I mentioned a while back that had like 200+ pages of UST and then a fade to black.

Good luck lol

Oh, balls!

Can you rec anything with good tension, but with actual lemony goodness too? The last few I've read have been light on that part of things, I'm ready for more.

P.S:- what r guyz reading right now? please suggest me some good drama fics with some logical well-written charcters.I was planning to start pound of flesh but i dont know i just couldnt start it. :( It surprise me that some of members have overflowing TBR list, when i dont actually have any list. :17:
Have you read the trilogy that starts with Let Your Light Shine by LolaShoes?  I'm on the second one now, nearly to the end and I've loved both of them.   They aren't on ffnet but someone posted a link to download them a few pages back.   It's Vampward and Human Bella...  sort of retake on the honeymoon and after (with no pregnancy story line)

It's the first of a trilogy. I've not yet read the other two (...there goes a bunny!) but when I do, I plan on re-reading Finished Product, I loved it that much

I just finished What Speaks in Darkness by CosmoGirl7481 and really enjoyed it.

"It should have scared me, but it didn't. I shouldn't have wanted it, but I did." Dark and empty. Lonely and unfulfilled. Can two broken souls find connection in spite of their differences? E/B OOC Rated M because there will be sex and it will be hot.

Oi! Ms Pervy Knickers! Just because I've been missing for a day, don't think I'd not catch-up with you!  I know, I'm NOT ALLOWED about spoilers, aren't I?

This ^^^ is why you are (in my mind) Bridget Jones! You have managed to morph two of the best lines from the movie into one fantastic nickname - and my first ever nickname too!  I am honoured

"Mr Titspervert. Titspervert."
"Barely breathe in scary knickers"/"This is an occasion for genuinely tiny knickers"

:( (For the record, mine are more along the lines of "absolutely enormous panties".)

And as for your being NOT ALLOWED, there's plenty of fics that will give you some tips on how to handle that - I believe lube helps  :o :D

An Introduction to Swirl and Daisy by m81170 You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

A first kiss, a first dance, a first curse word shared between best friends. This is the tale of a boring, young geek and the social pariah who thought the world of him. A tale of growing up. A tale of a Non-Romantic Romance.

What happened to Swirl and Daisy? I was eagerly awaiting its completion so that I could read it but it hasn't been updated since April!

It's funny you should find similarities with Ms Jones considering what I do for a living! hahaha!

As the "word" was not allowed the fact that you figured out what it was just confirms I found the exact right nickname for you! And all the lube in the world will never get me traveling down that road!  :D :D

I won't recommend Just Wait by InstandKarmaGirl then, Edward has a stutter that is painful to read...never mind the fact that this story has so much "drama" I needed therapy after reading it!

Are you a "wanton sex goddess, with a very bad man between her thighs?"  :D

This is one of my favourite films - I WAS Bridget Jones when it was first released. Still am - only not 32 anymore and haven't found my Mark Darcy (hence my addiction to fanfic), but will always "choose Vodka. And Chaka Khan."

Just Wait is on my TBR list. I love an awkward or imperfect Edward. I recall a fic that I read a few years back - Eye Contact by silver sniper of night You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Bella Swan made a choice in life, one that led her to Edward Cullen. But are her feelings for him strong enough to survive the complications that will most certainly follow, as well as the disapproval of those around them?

Edward is autistic and Bella is a teacher of children with special needs. I actually learnt a lot about autism reading this fic and am able to relate better to some of my students now. Quite a thought provoking read. Would love to hear anyone else's opinion of this one - it has been 2 years since I read it.

In my search for the details on Eye Contact I also came across this:

Nutter! Is that what Bridget does for a living lies in bed with bad men?!  :D But the wanton sex goddess similarities are spot on! Without the sex. Or the Goddess...

Alrightie then. I've just realised that I read "shutters" as "stutters"! Hence my Just wait rec!! Blimey I can be a bit "blonde" at times :D :D

I've read Eye Contact.. I really loved it, but it's nothing like Just Wait. Just Wait is a karate kick to the head to Eye Contacts slap on hand...

Can something be called a "collection" if there are only two stories?.... :P

Oh my, I LOVED Eye Contact, in fact I just re-read it last week some time. I work with a lot of Autistic children at Riding for the Disabled and I really enjoyed this Bella, one of the few I actually could relate to in some way. It also struck a chord with me since I have ADHD and as such function (and often behave) in a way that is different from most.

I've not read Just Wait, suppose I should bump it up my TBR list, but I may wait until after my exam...

I'll agree with you on 'shutters'. It drives me bonkers! But as for smelt, outside of North America, it's the more common of the past forms of 'to smell' (She who smelt it, dealt it) and it doesn't bother me at all as I use it more than smelled.

Smelled? :o As the past form of to smell?   ???  I never heard of such....In England we tend to use smelt. " I never smelt anything like it" " she smelt the flower"

Isn't it funny how words can be different from one place to the next? I've never heard of smelt as a past tense of smelled....I've heard of it as a fish though lol.

I've heard of smelt - my years of reading mostly British & Australian Harlequins - but it isn't something we normally use in spelling.  But really, when talking? Our smelled sounds more like smeldt. ;)

But shutters? Yeah, we've had this conversation.  So annoying.  Though my latest annoyance is the use of elicit instead of illicit .  The problem with misused words? I read them correctly. Sometimes it's hilarious. Others it really messes with the flow of the story.  :P
