Yeah, there was a lemon on the stairs you're right, just passed that part. This fic was written in 08/09 I just think that as I'm quite new-ish to Twificdom I've read more evolved Bellas, Bellas that have probably been written more recently? I don't know; I do know though that this chick just aggravates me, if it wasn't for her the fic would be fine. Do you remember how she allows her employee Jessica to talk to her? Why? Who? When? Where, would that happen?! And then wind shifts and, yeah, you guessed it, she cries!

Is this a complete fic at 20 chapters? Summary seems simlar to Friday's at Noon and Fifty Shades which I both loved...

I have no clue if it's complete. I hope it's not like Fifty, wouldn't want to flounce before getting into the story

Has anyone read Merciless by lmraven?

There are two versions, the cleaned up version on FF and the MA version on TWCS. It seems good based on the summary but there are 20 chapters on FF and 17 on TWCS $:-\$

I'm following it on FF, it's a WIP I thought?

Anyone wanting to know about Inside Man: it was good, definitely worth a read though Bella did my nut in at some points. I'm sort of disappointed overall, but that's the risk you take when waiting 3+ months for something to finish based on summary alone. It only took me about 2/2 and a half hours to read through, so it's not overly time consuming.

Another nice short story at 13 Chapters. I'm loving all these really short stories I've been reading. The author has taken some liberties in regards to the whole justice system, but they don't make the story unbelievable. Can't remember how it fares on the SPaG front, but I made it through easily so it can't be that bad. It's certainly worth a read.

The author rewrote this as original fic (also on her profile page on TWCS) as Too Merciless as part of a (rumoured - I feel like TMZ tonight

) dodgy comp that TWCS ran a few months ago. There was some issue with voting, but then a panel of judges selected the winner despite the votes.

Neither version looks complete and neither have updated since October. Wish I could tell you more but WIPS?

I'm throwing a party because I finished Stay in the early hours of Monday morning!

I'm so proud of myself for not flouncing! Did it get better? No. Did Bella become more bearable? No. Why did I continue? I've decided I'm a bit of a masochist streak in me.

In all honestly the main problem with this fic apart from Bella being a silly C is that the author wants to be popular more than she wants to follow her convictions. I don't know what was happening in Twificdom in the 08/09 but it feels like she just wanted people to like her! She never allows any kind of dramatic tension to last for longer than half a chapter, God forbid that her Edward should be perceived in anything but a positive light even if the problem lies only in Silly C's imagination. Jesus *shakes head* I just glad it's over! Now I want someone to rec me a Bella dying story, PLEASE!

Yeah that rumour has been floating around for a while and I now have a friend who works at Harper's Bizarre in the UK that has a male friend ( yep, one of those connections) who claims to be having an affair with him... Regardless. Tom is major crush worthy. 50?! awe inspiring.

Ooooh! I like when people start to adopt my terminology I kind of have a generic good-looking brunette with big brown eyes, it's not actually anyone literal...

I'm with Demaris, I just picture someone I've made up in my mind. It's kinda hard to describe, but you know - 'generic' Bella, brown eyes and brown hair. It's often a little different depending on how the author describes her. I've noticed in an increasing amount of fics she's super short, I can't remember is SM mentioned that in the books, either way, if the author says she's short I usually roll that in too.

Urgh! I hate that, when authors create and resolve conflict so quickly. A little tension and conflict can add so much to a story when done well.

As for you needing a dying Bella fic, the only ones I've read where she is sick and 'dying' she's ended up living. You honey, you just need some good slash where dear Bella isn't even in the picture at all!

Oh God! I wish I could...I just don't know... no I'll be honest. I cannot read Edward/ Jasper, Edward/ Carlisle, Edward/ the rest of the male Twific world getting it on. It's all too much for my tender sensibilities

My Edward is a raging heterosexual, yes he has dubious taste in brunettes but still only interested in male on female action. If I start down the slashbrick road I might never find my way back home, no matter how hard I click my red glittery shoes!
