OK, I took the plunge and asked for the fanfiction downloader to update in calibre.

Nothing happened. Does that mean I have to edit the metadata and add all the URL's for all the stories in my favorites at Twilighted, Fanfiction.net, and TWCS?

HOLY CRAP. I have over 700 in my favs just at ffn.net

I had problem with the downloader at first, though  I blame the hour (04.00) when I started using it. In the end it came out OK. I copied/paste each story individually but the downloader can take around ten URLs at a time...But as I said I only had 134 stories on FF.net. I've noticed today though that there is a Import List plugin? which can import from websites so...I'm crap at all things techno but maybe that might be able to help get more of your stories in at a time? Let me know how you get on. :-*

Finally finished EP. It was really great despite all the angst! The outtakes were good too, loved the one of Alec. The lesson he taught re the girl scout cookies had me laughing out loud. Ohhh Alec!!

Now, after that heart twinging read, am in need of a humorous and lemony one. So many were rec'd, which among these should i read next if i want the funniest and lemoniest among them:
Out of sight out of mind
Real life of ea masen
Diva diaries
Screamers
The lost boys
Alphabet weekends
Naked guy upstairs

Thanks!

WOW. You and Ella are a lot further along in this process than I am. I have 126 more fics to tag, review, edit, etc. Good news is that I got done 827 yesterday. I have not even exploded all the zip files yet we have by alphabet. I am sure that is several thousand. How did you get done so fast? I am having to fix authors, etc. that didn't come in correct. Then I want to check for duplicates.

I haven't even attempted to pull my dropbox, 4shared, etc in either.

Does that mean I have too many ?
I'm sure I may have more than you. I downloaded your favs back in June so you only need the new ones.  You have to put in each separately.  My rec is to use ff downloader & import into Calibre for completed stories.  Use Calibre's downloader for WIP's & don't forget to set it to add new chapter only or it will wipe out everything if they do. Also? You are way farther along than me. I just do things back-asswards :D

Diva Diaries are really funny but I have a feeling that there's still a bit of angst not quite there yet. Lost boys? Was that funny? Lordy I can't remember! Clearly I have early non-set Fan Fic dementia.....

You could wait but it isn't vital. The story as it stands is good and doesn't leave you hanging. The epi's won't impact the end nor are they really needed :)

Thanks! While waiting for replies, i read an O/S called In the Light of Day. It was very good, wish it was longer. Unfortunately, i dont know the author as it says orphan account. Her writing style reminds me of Jengreen/jen533/greeneyed girl. Beside that fic in my ibooks are other O/S of orphan acct called All Aboard as well as Stoli and sexpenders, both of which i havent read yet. Do you know the real author's name for these? Since they're short and am feeling sleepy already will read these 2 first before hitting the sack and calling it a day. Looking forward to starting The Real E.A. Masen tomorrow  :)

Oh, woke up my lazy a** to google sexpenders. These were by Tkegl!

Wow, surprised at the ending of High Anxiety. As there are so many to read, am appreciative of all the comments here, whether or not they give the "secrets" away, so i know which ones to avoid. Here's what i've compiled so far from this thread

Non-HEA, ExB

1   The Elusive Mr. Cullen
2   Toye
3   Twice in a lifetime singer
4   Incubus anomaly
5   Jagged turns and twisted fate
6   Open up next to you
7   Eden burning
8   Tempt my tongue
9   In place no one will find
10   Amazing grace
11   What's done cannot be undone
12   The space between
13   High anxiety

Thanks again for all the heads up!
im bit behind so maybe this was mentioned before. There was a fic, i think it was a latin name, where Bella was Edward lawyer. he was a writer a was being accused of killing his wife, Tanya i think. That wasnt a hea, i was sooooooooooo pissed when i read it. all that angst for nothing.

True but they are quite short reads that help my brain "reboot" a bit and gives me instant gratification.  :D

Now, these 3 books are the perfect ones to end my day. Would be having very nice dreams tonight  :)

Goodnight, ladies!  :-*

Um, I was using the ffdownloader plugin for Calibre. So it checks when you ask it to then it asks if you want to update the library & I said yes.  All done. Right in the library you set up.

Really feel kinda slow today, I cannot see where you locate the url on the ff favorites pages.  Do you have to enter each individually?  is there a different way to configure the ffdownloader?

so lost with this.......
