But that's what happens when you never visit your daughter's house. 

But looking through your toybox?  Yeah, she should be the embarrassed one LOL! 

My parents don't live in the same country and as I work she tends to come to me more than vice versa...She gets into everything, mail, clothes, wine-rack...toy box. you name it, she snoops! 

I probably will never read Dusty either.  I can do the sad endings, character death, etc... only in small doses like a one shot.  A full multichapter story like this? Yeah, I would probably put it down, and forget I was reading it. Fast.

I'm on Chapter 19 of Frontline and I really don't get what all the hoopla is about. The story is boring and redundant. I couldn't remember why I flounced it several times, but yeah, I'm determined to finish the thing cause there is only one chapter left for her to post.

Was there a hoopla about Frontline?  I have it on my TBR but I thought it was completed..

I've only read the first chapter and it looked good - I don't know how it went afterwards since I let it go when she was taking so long to update.  So long....  I think that was what the hoopla was a bout.  You don't notice the redundant stuff when there are months between updates.

LOL! Yeah, my mom is good about not snooping the few times she came over.  My dad however.... And he would be REALLY embarrassed to see my toy box

Funny I went back to CW&IA earlier this week to see if I could stick it out, I got to about chapter 4 (?) and I flounced, AGAIN! Why is this story not grabbing me? It's not the angst I haven't even got there yet, and I love me some angst...I feel a bit bad abut it as I know this is a classic, right?

I did the same thing with both Hit by Destiny and Grasping Darkness, just couldn't get into them either time I tried to read them.

I read to just past the accident on HBD, and just can't get back into it. I love angst, and I love an assward, but I just lost interest. I think part of it was asking and learning what the deal was with Renee and the Black's, that was just *too* weird, and it made me lose interest.

CI&IA is a fave of mine though, but I DO remember it taking me a few chapters to really become enthralled. It started slow for me, but once it got going, wow! Loved it.

Have you tried Starry Eyed Inside by Rochelle Allison?  It's a high school fic, but I liked it.  Made me feel nostalgic about high school instead of dirty for waggling my eyebrows for a high school E.  Wait, did that make sense because it totally made sense in my head?
