This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement. 

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Oh well, it doesn't work perfectly, when the update is only hours old...  :(
So, we'll have to wait a bit longer...

This is all way too complicated for a woman who had to check what IE stood for.   ??? ???

I'm trying, like we all are, to organize my fics and as you know that is a chore...genre, author, alpha...etc and then I'm thinking why bother? It's like a damn job!!
Anyway, i was asked this by my BFF and I'm passing on to you guys. What is the absolute best Fic you have ever read. Despite rating, genre or length, pick one that you just could not get enough of. Can you do it? I got my top 5 and I'm narrowing down as I type. I dare you, choose a Fic!!!

The Quiet Room is not too everyone's taste but I really enjoyed it.  A friend of mine flounced because she could not get over the first chapter or so, she missed out.   :D :D

Have you tried Running by Merina Green?  It's the first of a trilogy, all complete and well worth a read, it is non cannon through. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I saw that episode before I had seen Twilight, and then I saw it after so I already knew the twist, it was funny to see him in that role, but he was good.

I am a slow reader and as such I have not read alot of fanfic yet but I am working on it. So my top fic is Friday at Noon.

I love when someone asks us to pick our favorite fic.  I've only read like 30 total so it's easier for me but I still have trouble.

If I just go with the first one that pops in my head it would have to be Wide Awake (minus the DARN epilogue!).   But if I think about it Fridays at Noon and Words with Friends are up there too.   Oh and if I think a little more then I'd add Dear Mr Masen, Puddle Jumping, Stranger than Fiction, Comp Sem 101 and the Practicum.  :)  (the last 2 are great for sweet romance with not much angst)

I finished Resident Geek a few minutes ago and i really liked it.  :)  my favorite geekward will still have to be
Love in my box by cosmomarvar  :)

Am looking for an actorward or athleteward next...if nothing grabs me, then Daily Grind is next up...
LIMB is still my favorite geekward too...  I'm almost done with Resident Geek and I do love it, but there was just something about LIMB.  I also LOVED the way it started with the email exchanges.

LOL! I read a slash HP story. Really sweet. Harry & Draco. It actually made sense they were together for some reason. Not a lot of lemons. Mostly fade to black.

And I've done it where the other characters are non canon. Just not B & E.  ;D

I saw Jackson Rathbone on Criminal Minds too. I thought he did a great job! I saw it after Twilight.  I was looking on the internet to see what other movies or tv shows he was in. I like Jackson Rathbone and Criminal Minds so I knew I had to see it. He looks good as a women as well as a man. It is one of my favorite episodes of Criminal Minds.

I CAN'T DO IT  :banghead:  I tried really hard, but there is no way that I can narrow it down to just 1...

When those questions are asked I have to go silent.  I can't answer that question.  I'm not even sure I could give a top ten.  I'm with Loopy, it's like asking me which of my children I love the most.

I saw him first on an episode of Criminal Minds. He played a cross-dressing psycho killer. He was really good. ;)

He made a very good looking woman too!

I just started watching criminal minds and im addicted to it.
Finishing up season 3. Its funny when we see actors that now are famous doing a small part.

By the way, i finally started to use calibre. Thanx for all the tips. But im still on basic mode. Downloading one fic at a time.  :-*
