Because we just talked about My Mate and the sequel My Power, I wanted to let everyone know that she is pulling her stories. I just flagged them because I want to read !! I am sure you have already gotten them all, but I wanted to warn those that mostly work on ipads like me and rarely boot laptops anymore.

UPDATE (10/14/13). The time has come to exit my writing stage. Fear not, I have zero ambitions to publish. This has been a fantastic hobby and now it's time to dive into something new. But these stories are like my little pets and I don't want to leave them alone here without me. So they'll come down when I go.

I cannot express enough how lovely it has been meeting all the delightful, amazing readers. So many of you have left thoughts and notes that have made my days beautiful and I want to thank you for that.

Unfortunately virtually every fic I read these days has an A/N from the author commenting on a nasty review(s).  You have to wonder what the hell is wrong with people, what happened to if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing?

Exactly! It's the fault of social media, and the fact that people can say whatever they want to say without any accountability.

Hating someone and wishing death upon them because they have been linked to a celebrity? Come on! That's BS!

Last Friday, one of the boys in my school yelled out in the middle of class "Pong! Who farted?". The teacher told me that the kid yelled it at the top of his voice, so the teacher went mad at him for yelling and also for being inappropriate.

The kid obviously went home and told his mum that he got into trouble, because she posted on FB: "Kid got into trouble at school for asking who farted. Should have asked who shit themselves!"

Then, everyone had to comment - and criticise the teacher and the school, without even knowing the context. Someone who has nothing to do with the school commented: "He should tell the teachers to f*ck off. They'd probably implode".

Charming, right?

What really annoys me is that we have absolutely no recourse - no way to explain what really happened at all. The parents that did comment that he shouldn't talk like that at school also got condemned!

Unfortunately, the squeaky wheel makes the most noise.
