This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement. 

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

When I was online earlier I came across this manip, I know it's not one of the worst ones out there *cough*Unicorn*cough* but it's still wrong on so many levels.
No-one ever looks good with a mullet.  :D

The authors suppose to be writing a sequel but it finishes in a really good place that it doesn't really need one.

Has anyone read the Stark trilogy by J. Kenner? I liked the first book, but now that I'm on the second, I'm getting bored. I only want to continue reading if the third book gets better. Each book got over 4 stars on GR, so I'm wondering if it's me again. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.

Maybe it's time for me to return to FF, but I have no idea what I'd read. Nothing feels appealing.

I read that one as a WIP and have been meaning to go back and reread it all in one go.  Especially after she just did the EPOV of one of the chapters.  I know it was part of a charity compilation from a while ago, but she just put it out there last week I think?

Anyway, it's a good story.   ;D

Oh that is so funny.  I needed that laugh.  Someone has way to much time on their hands if they are making those kind of manipulations. 

I took the picture out of the quote, cause I don't need to see it more than once, now if it was a different photo...

Do what? 

Save to Google drive?  I have Google Drive folder on my computer, so in Calibre, I highlight the stories I want to copy, right click and select save to disk/save to disk and select the calibre library on your Google Drive folder.  It adds the new stories over-writing the ones on there and then Google syncs it.  ;D

It's pretty easy.  Since I can't copy it to the Calibre library on Google drive. (mumble mumble stupid incompatibility mumble)  >:(

She is still being bullied?  >:( That is one of the worst things that can happen to a child! Did you read that our bully problem got solved? My son's bully doesn't bother him anymore at the moment.

I'm glad that the child who was bullying your son is leaving him alone - hopefully it will stay that way permanently.

The child who was tormenting my daughter has been removed from the school.  The difference it has made to her confidence is astounding.

I hope the problem gets sorted soon limomx2 and that your daughter feels happier about algebra and school in general.

An Austrian friend recently traveled to the US and came across Honey Boo-Boo on TV, she came back and asked me to explain who this girl was.  I must have been out of the US too long, cause although I am aware of the show, I couldn't explain why  she is on tv.
