This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Looking for a good story without hundreds of lemons? Try Elemental by TallulahBelle. I only watched the first season of The Secret Circle, but this story reminded me a lot of it as its supernatural element focuses on witchcraft. Add in the complication of mating/imprinting and this story made for a rich read. I really enjoyed it and was pleased I didn't have to skip a bunch of lemons--and not because it FtB, but because it's a slow build. Even though it probably could have gotten away with a T rating, it was good. (Maybe for language? Can't remember.) And though it's BPOV (with outtakes in EPOV), I still liked it.

I really enjoyed this one too. The fact that it is a different type of supernatural made it a refreshing change from the norm.

I also enjoyed all of the outtakes in EPOV. I wish there was a sequel! If there was, I would consider reading as a WIP, and that is big for me. I never read WIPs.

I started There is a Light by belladonnacullen... I think this might be the first one I've read by her. I'm 20% or so in and so far I'm enjoying it. There is a lot of jumping forward and back so I'm trying to follow along to figure out whats going on.

I loved this story. It's angsty, but wonderful.

I really liked Elemental, it is well written, and well thought out and the relationships make sense. It has been a while since I read it, maybe I should reread it to get me unstuck from Help Wanted.

If I ever write my own story, (not likely to happen, although I have built character back stories in my mind, but still not likely) I think I would be inspired by Elemental.

There is a lot of stuff about sharks. So I'm guessing it takes a long time to research.

Just finished Arkena. It was pretty good. The writer needs more practice, but I think that they have the potential to be a good author. There were some grammatical errors, but I don't think that they were too bad, as I was able to mentally work around them.

I started this once. But I think that was when I was in one of my "moods" i.e. nothing sounded good. I will move it back up. Snowbound's lemons have slowed down. However, it seems that my mobi version was created when the story was a WIP. So it is missing about 10 chapters. Sigh....

I really enjoyed Help Wanted but I have to admit even I skimmed the lemons after a while, as they seemed to be a bit repetitive after a while.
It seemed after a while that E & B did nothing but had sex, who has that much time to have sex all the time (I wish I did, but sadly it ain't so )
I'm even shocked at myself for saying such a thing.
