This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I just finished reading Frontline by MissAlex.  I had it in my library and hadn't read it yet.  I must say I should have read it long before now!  I really enjoyed CEOward!!  But I must admit, I have a real thing for a bossy Edward!!   >:D

Thanks for reminding me about this one! Am on chapter 4 and enjoying it so far. What a nice shift from reading rock star books. I do love ceoward as well. After actorwards, ceowards are my next fave. Can't wait to see what happens...at least you gals have confirmed it's a HEA.  :)  On to read some more...  >:D

I have developed an aversion to angst.  Something inside just says Nooooo!  Need something good to read that has some action/suspense/not necessarily fluff.  Any good ideas out there??

But there are ways to work around a back ache.  ;) ;) :P :P

Agree with all the comments. Finished this yesterday and i enjoyed it.  :) Can't help but compare with the Gravity series with regards to the action/suspense. In my opinion, no twific i've read so far beats the Mercward and the kind of writing by drotuno in the Gravity series  ;)

Um, I can't figure it out and it's my library.  However, if you click on the "Drive" in the corner, a search box comes up and you can look for what you want.

Question about Calibre - How to add a column for date

For fanfic stories, there are three dates appearing on the summary page when you download using Calibre: the packaged date, the published date, and the updated date.  Right now, I can see only 2 columns for date in Calibre - the packaged date and the published date.  How can I add a column for 'Updated Date'?  I have a huge WIP fanfic stories and the updated date would help me to know which story has been recently updated.

add a column called updated and associate the updated date with that column in the FFDL.

I have columns for Date, Last Update, and Published. They are set to downloaded date, last time the story was updated, and the date it was first posted.  ;)

Agree with all the comments. Finished this yesterday and i enjoyed it.  :) Can't help but compare with the Gravity series with regards to the action/suspense. In my opinion, no twific i've read so far beats the Mercward and the kind of writing by drotuno in the Gravity series  ;)

Though I've only read the first one so far of the Gravity series, I'd have to agree I like drotuno's story better for the action, but then I didn't know what I was getting into when I started Frontline--I was thinking it was solely CEOward. But back to your comment, there was also Thief of Hearts by pattyrose which I loved for its action/suspense also. And then there was that FBIward with the name I can never remember because it's Dutch or something (The Geheime Vernietiging or something like that...). I really enjoyed that one too, though not as much as Blood & Glory.

Thief of Hearts - pattyrose,
Geheime Vernietiging - amoredjenaue,
Frontline - missalex.

Thanks Ella!  It works!  However, it works only with the new downloads.  Does it mean that I'm out of luck with the old downloads?  Is there a way I can go back and add updated date to the stories that I've already downloaded?  Or do I have to re-download them?

You may have have to re-download them to get it.  Or add it manually using the update metadata. 

I haven't figured out a better way to do it.  But maybe someone else has?
