Hello ladies. How I've missed you all!

The end of the school year just got on top of me and I got a little swamped. I hit a really rough patch and got a little consumed with just keeping my head above water. My doctor added something to my little cocktail of medication to help with the anxiety and I was also fighting constant nausea from that. By the time I got home at the end of the day, I barely made it to bed, and then was up early to fight through another day and do it all again.

I haven't even saved any fics since November!

I made it through to the end of the year at work, and on the last day of school, I had to go into the hospital for some minor surgery - I had 5 moles removed from my face and arms. It was just day surgery and it all went smoothly, but the painkillers knocked me on my arse! I was supposed to take them every 8 hours. I only took one on Friday night and one on Saturday night, and even then, I slept for 43 of the 48 hours of that weekend!

I'm down in Brisbane now, at my parents' and it's been lovely to catch up with the family. I have done as little as possible and I am feeling much better about life in general now - although my therapist has warned me that I need to address the issue of me setting such high expectations for myself, and not to treat the holidays as a placebo.

I hope you are all well - I look forward to going back to page 119 and catching up on all that I've missed. Did you all have a lovely Christmas?

We spent the day at my sister's. She has a German au pair and her boyfriend was visiting from Hanover. They were amazed by our Aussie Christmas and the heat was knocking them around a bit.

I finished Drotuno's Gravity series - loved all 3 - and am looking forward to the fourth one completing. I'm working through the Rock Chick series while I'm on holidays. I know some of you don't like them, but they are just what I need now - light, humorous, and hot sexy men. If only I could get that in my real life!!!
 
I will be around a lot more now that I'm feeling better. I bought myself an iPad for my birthday/Christmas and need you all to teach me how to use it properly! I desperately need to know how to block ads - I have them blocked on my laptop, but can't figure it out for the iPad.

To everyone who PMed or emailed during my little break - it really meant a lot to me. Knowing that so many of you were thinking of me helped me get through the days.

But, hey, is it just me or does kellan look so gay in that inset photo...maybe am reading too much of Ty and Zane (Cut & Run series by abigail roux and madeline urban), that i try to find "gay" traits in seemingly macho men. Just finished the 3rd book but will take a break from the next 3 now...while i search for gay pron because that last book (fish & chips) was hot! 

Seriously, will probably read a historical next. Haven't read one in months!

I couldn't get into it either.  Sometimes you wonder if these authors who write about bullying have ever actually been on either end of it. It always seems more like what they think bullying is. Or what they would like to do to someone.

There are some well written ones, but mostly I find them over the top. And? Would you really bully the daughter of the Police Chief? Or would you just ignore her? 

Though maybe things have changed since I was a kid.

I'd like to know if someone here can help me to find two stories that I read a long time ago and that I gorget the tittles :

The first one :

All vampire.Bella is Aro's daughter and everyone is GOOD in here.She meets the Cullens when they come to Italy for a ball.I know that when they get to Italy,the girls go shopping and Alice see's a pair of shoes that she wants in a shop but they tell her it's a one of a kind and can't be sold.They all meet @ the ball and Alice see's Bella with the shoes on.Anyway E/B meet fall in love.But the Cullens have to go back to the States for school and what not.Bella stays behind but they miss each other. I believe the Cullens come back for Christmas and Aro decides to let Bella go back with them. She goes to school and they eventually get married.I remember they go somewhere for their honeymoon, I think,but decide to buy a house there to just get away and have alone time. It was a great story but I forgot to add to my favorites & don't remember the author.

The second one :

Edawrd returns from war (modern times) I think he lost his leg (or something?) he's not dealing well since returning. I think he's a doctor/medic in the war but he's not sure what he's going to do now he's returned. At one point he and Bella go to some dinner (I think it's for the army - something for E?) and Bella meets his commanding officers and she wants to dance but he doesn't because of his leg so his commanding officer offers to dance with her, they do and E becomes jealous and thinks B is flirting with the guy. When they get home they argue and B points out how they don't have a physical relationship and she wants to have kids (?) and it makes E realise that he needs to sort himself out. In the end he decides to practice medicine? It's only short 3/4 chaps?
