Demaris - I won't throw tomatoes your way just yet - you are a hard sell.  Trust me - he is a good actor.  He just needs to do something you like.  Every director he's ever worked with says he's good and they can't all be wrong.    I just wish everything he's done lately wasn't/isn't R rated because it means limited release and will never show up in a theater near me and I'm stuck until the DVD comes out.

Well, using your argument it would mean that Kstew is a great actress too, as all her directors have praised her too, haven't they? And I think there is a general agreement here that she can't act for sh!t!  Nah, you can't take a director's word for it, they have too much invested in the product and at the time of asking most are promoting said product.  But I will agree, he has his age going for him...he may in a few years time grow up to be Christian Bale... Each to their own, dear friends, each to their own....


On a Fanfic note, Lola-pops has got a new story. *sigh* I do wish she'd finish We Were Here....

See! Told you! That's what happened to me (much to my friends disgust)! I sat there clinching my vejayjay thinking " This is sooo wrong!" Now...if we are still talking actors Mr Fassy is....there are no words! AND he can bloody act!

  I shouldn't laugh because I have yet to get drunk enough to see part two...even when it's free on TV I've still found something better to do.

I know you were right (as usual  ). A few of my friends had been to see it as well and they were all like "He's a right b*stard, it put me of him a bit!" I was thinking "But he's a hot b*stard!"

My daughter has all the DVD's so I've watched them all multiple times and always laugh at both parts of BD.

Loopy Lou I'm beginning to think we might have be separated at birth...I'm really hankering for some high voltage, rip your heart out angst....my angsthore needs have not been satisfied in a while, I've been trawlin' through 'fluff' wanting to junk punch some of these saps! Ella, I can hear you! 

I love good drama. And humor. My favorites have a little of everything. But if I have to read something badly written? It sure as heck better be funny. I hate stories that are "angsty" but when you read them? It is just a "what other horrible thing can we throw at Bella now?" That's not angst, it's tragedy.  As in a tragefy they bothered to write it

And I'm currently rereading No Ordinary Proposal after we were talking Olderward the other day. I haven't really read anything that great lately that's complete.  Maybe True Confessions of a Coffee Girl by Deebelle on FFnet.  That just finished. Actorward. I enjoyed the AN's sometimes more than the story.

Ella, is it me or is Calibre refusing to collect URL's from TWCS? I keep trying but it just ain't having it..

I'm traveling this week so I didn't really try. I just grabbed the completed stories on Wednesday night. I think there's an update. I'll get on & check in a bit.

LOL! That's good, because after updating I didn't have an issue.  Though I think I am running Calibre ver 1.17 - so I'm never sure if the newer Calibre updates mess things up.

I'm so curious to see how they're editing Dusty so it's fit for publishing. The whole 2 year age difference secret relationship was such a cop out that wouldn't have mattered in high school. I read a review on goodreads after I finished it last year that mentioned it being so long and could have gone without the first quarter of the story when they're all grade school babies, and couldn't help but agree. But then that removes all explanation of that Bella's doormat backstory.

I'm only about 100 pages in and there has been a few times where I've wanted to sit in the bath hugging the toaster while it's plugged in. 
Which is always a good sign.
