So I have a soft spot for fics where Bella or Edward are blind/deaf/mute/autistic/disabled/etc. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

There is one fic I can recommend, Awaken by Edward's Eternal. I won't say anything about the disability because I believe it's not totally revealed until a few chapters in.

I just finished You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login by Sherryola and enjoyed it mostly, the fact that the author herself is blind gave it more authenticity.

Anyone know what has happened to Arisa Baumann and Feral part 2?

I like those fics too but I am fed up with the magically healing in most of the stories.

Seriously, Bella or Edward is blind/deaf etc since birth and as soon as they fall in love a new technology is invented so they can be healed and live a HEA?

I'd like to know some fics where they actually live with the disability, deal with it and have their HEA without being magically healed.

The only story I know is Impact by nise7465...

Also, the first twi fic I ever read had Edward with Aspergers. Its been pulled but it's in the index, Puddle Jumping by the wonderful 108year old Virgin. (I really miss Amber's stories she is my all time favorite fic writer.)

Absolutely loved Puddle Jumping!   It was great...  I've only read that one and FAP by her so far.

Ok, so this isn't a fic but I recently read Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan and it was one of the best books I've read in a while.   The main character is deaf but there is so much more to his story.    Loved it!

LFC Hotstuff is an amazingly talented writer who favors angst and often writes disabled/broken wards. She has a sequel to Irreversible, called Live Laugh Cry, but it hasn't been updated in a while.
