Hi guys
I read one fanfic story long ago but now I forgot the title. The story is about secret agent Bella going undercover as stripper and met Edward in mafia group or the crime group (I am not sure). Then they fell in love but consequently the mafia or crime group got arrested and Edward felt betrayed by Bella and he also went to prisons. Years later, Edward came out of prison and kidnapped Bella to an isolated island to live there forever. Then Bella got pragnent and drugged Edward since he started to lose his mind but finally come to his sense and gave Bella the map and fly secretly-kept holicoper away. But after Bella flied away, she came back to get Edward.

Could you pls give me the title of the story? Thanks you.

and TeamBella's Aha Shake never fails to give me painful belly laughs as soon as Emmett enters the story. The last half of that story is amusing perfection.

laughed so much while reading this I cried; I was on the Tube on my way to a meeting, desperately trying to keep it in and tears streaming down my face, I think all my fellow passengers thought I was deranged  :D :D

I think I'll go with your suggestion Ella as I've not read that. Thanks ladies! BTW the heart stopping book was On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta; Jesus wept such an amazing book.

In real book world, I'm split about The Fault in our Stars.  I want to read it, but I almost feel like getting an audiobook copy because I'm not sure i can get through that mountain of text.
I really didn't want to read this one because of the sad factor, but I was finally talked into it and I'm glad I read it.   It was a really sweet story and while it was extremely sad, it was a great story.   I definitely don't remember it being overly long though.   Is it a big book?

I finally read the Angels series by drotuno and I was really surprised by it.  :)

I'm not a big fan of Vampward and this stories actually had a lot of my pet peeves in them, but still, I enjoyed reading them a lot. Drotuno has great original ideas, she ties up loose ends and gives better background than SM did. I actually liked it better than the original New Moon etc  :-*
I really need to read this series soon!  I've been putting it off because I know it's going to be really long and I'm afraid I'll get bored and need a change of pace, but won't want to read anything else until I finish it! :)

Seriously? You're going to say how awesome it was and then not tell us the name?  Spill it!  ;-)  Did it tear your heart out like TBH? I don't think I'll ever find a book that affects me on that level again.

I did! Above! Sorry I forgot the first time, my head was still reeling. Errr? No, it didn't tear it out like TBH, Jellicoe Road did it in its very own individual way. its marketed as a YA but there is nothing 'young' about this book it's just incredible and this author is really amazing and under-rated; it makes me so mad when I think of the kind of money some YA authors have made from the genre and then you get someone like Marchetta who has more writing talent than Rowling and Meyers [squared] and has a fraction of their fame. Rant over... :D

You guys are all saying the Angel series by drotuno is really good (even thought it's loooong), but the description for the first one just isn't really drawing me in, anyone got a better summary that might actually make me want to give it a crack, cause if not, i'm probably gonna pass it over....

I saw your post after I finished "assembling" my multiquote reply.  LOL   More talent thatn Rowling? C'mon!  I'm going to have to read this to see if I agree.   I might just read it next.  Is it a standalone book?

I just finished reading a real book...   Driven (by Bromberg).  I'm such a sap for this kind of story.   I am going to give it 5 stars considering it's genre.   I do hate that these books end on such awful cliffhangers in the middle of the story, but oh well...  she has me hooked so I'll be reading the next two immediately.

Absolutely a better writer than Rowling!  I tried to read Rowling's HP to my god-daughter when she was younger, after the first book I quickly changed her over to Philip Pullman's Dark Materials instead, I was sooooo happy when she was finally old enough to read them herself!  And she soon stopped asking me to go with her to see the films as I'd fall asleep as the opening credits started. :D :D  Yes it's a stand alone book. Read it asap!

Oh, Lordie Kimkimkim...Driven? *sigh* I'm not saying a word... :-X

Okay I'm going to put this in a spoiler so I don't upset anyone - though really, what I will put in here is mostly just the beginning.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Overall, you can read the first one and stop.  I actually liked the third one the best.  But they are all good.  They can stand alone.  There is no cliffhanger at the end of each. They are more like a series of stories that it helps to have read them in order or you may not know the new characters as well. But you can read one, read something else, read another, etc...  ;D

Does that help?

Thanks, it does. I'm gonna add them to my TBR list... to hopefully be read before I'm dead.

I've been catching up on posts I missed over the last few days, find a story that was talked about or suggested, go and check my library, only to see that I have the story and didn't even remember. If this keeps up, not only will I have not finished anything I want to read (since I usually add like 3 or 4 stories to that list everyday or so) but I'll be senile and have doubles of stories before I'm 25.  :banghead:

Hello my lovelies  :-* :-*
Not been on much over the last week as we found a place to rent while our house is being inspected for whether we'll be able to move back into it or not.
We had to tell a tiny white lie to get this place though - we told them we only had 1 cat and 2 dogs, we'll have to rest of the crew if/when the landlord shows up to check the place out, whoops.
At least my parents are looking after the 2 Kevins.  :D

I managed to read some while moving - finally finished Rear View Mirror by Dishie, it was a decent enough read but the thing that bugged me the most is

I really hope they can get your house fixed soon. We had a pipe break a few years ago. While we were out all day. Only 2 inches of water throughout the whole house so nowhere near as bad as yours. But the worst part was waiting for it all to dry out.  They build houses on concrete pads here. And the flooring people wouldn't do anything until the concrete dried. At least we could live there. Just not real comfortably.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.  :-*

We've been told we we're one of the luckier ones as our house is brick built while a few of our neighbours homes are newer so they're timber framed. So hopefully we'll be able to move back in and not have to re-build. *phew*
Ella, that's bad enough though, as not only is it inconvenient it's like you said not really comfortable to leave in a damp house.
Mind you it's quite nice having our "own" place again - I love my in-laws but it's nice not having to be quite all the time.  ;) :P :P :D
