This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Started reading Sideline Collision... Jasper & Emmett are almost as fun to read about as Edward in this one and that's saying a lot coming from me. I only have eyes for Edward! ;-) I was trying to decide between this, First & 10 and TMoBS and went with SC because it was the shortest. Kiss of Steel (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) has me so worked up. I'd like to buy the next one, but its free at the library so I'm waiting for it. A little quarterback Edward is a great way to spend my time.

Wow I go away and 8 pages behind, thankfully just fought up.

I've been reading several fics

Flash Forward by Bravery0898, kinda long but it was kinda sweet, it deals with some time travel

it kinda is different since in the first chapters Edward and Bella aren't together. I liked it overall

even though we had a NM moment but instead of Edward leaving Bella, Bella was the one that did so it was refreshing in a way

Training the Cullen by IvoryAdulation. It is different in the way that Bella is a though girl that went through a very traumatic event

I thought for a moment that I couldn't continue reading but she wasn't fixed right away, it took a while and a little help from Edward, so again a little different and it was an Actorward so yeah

Right now reading Rapture by AydenMorgen some policeward

I was excited to see more and just re-read the entire thing again, just to read the update.

It's a beautiful fic and written just like the Edward in this fic - quiet, subtle, no drama.

My afternoon/evening was a bust. I went over to my friends' house for a BBQ and to watch the football (rugby). Her younger brother brought his 23 year old girlfriend, who proceeded to drink like the boys and became extremely belligerent and nasty - she was picking fights with everyone, then crying. and then back to abusive. My friend's brother is extremely chill and I have never seen him so embarrassed. She's immature, but she's never been like this before.

For some reason, she kept coming back to me for "comfort" and I was just waiting for her to turn on me - I actually got her to go into a bedroom to take a nap at one point, but she came back out after about 20 minutes because "everyone is laughing at me!". It was an afternoon of true drunk girl angst!

Luckily, I had only had 2 drinks so I decided to come home - I don't need to babysit a drunken 23 year old brat on the last weekend of my holidays - and now I can watch the rugby in peace and don't have to worry about driving home in the morning.

And I got to read some Rochelle Allison, so maybe it all worked out for the better!

On July 5, 2013 @ 8:15 am, I received and directive from Mr. Admin that a warrant was to be issued for you for undisclosed reason and that your bail is set at $100.

What kind of fic are you in the mood for? Angst? Fluff? Dark? Short vs long?

I've read 4 of them:

Edward Wallbanger (funny/lemony)

The Office - this is the one that was published as Beautiful Bastard,right? I really liked this. There was a good bit of angst if you're looking for that.

Emancipation Proclamation - I read this as Sempre and LOVED It. Great story and someone posted that they are going to do a second book.

Clipped Wings - This was extremely angsty, not a lot of happiness in the part I read. It seemed like the longest fic in the world and I didn't end up finishing it.

The rest are on my soon-TBR list. Please post back and let us know what you thought of the one you select.

I have 39 chapters in epub format if you want it. I think it came from TWCS. So no need for cutting and pasting. Except maybe the last chapter if she ever posts it. I think she will P2P without posting the last chapter to get people to buy it. She did that before.

Since I didn't read Closer, Just a kiss, Maybe, Reel life or The vagina monologues, I can't comment on those, but if I were following up on Misapprehension of Bella Swan, I'd go with The office or maybe First and ten (although that's another sports story). The rest are all really good stories too, so there will be no fail there!
