This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Is anyone else following Stolen by Rochelle Allison? I just re-read Air and Starry Eyed Inside over the weekend, because those are my faves from RA. I know Volition gets mentioned as her best fic, there's just something about both Air and SEI that do it for me.

I liked Volition, but I definitely preferred Air and Starry Eyed Inside.

Actually, Rochelle Allison could write a shopping list and I'd read it!

You know when you spend too much time on here (if there's such a thing!) when start thinking of peeps on here when you're at a party!!

We went to Cardiff for a long weekend to celebrate my eldest brothers 20th Wedding Anniversary and he ad an ice sculpture which had vodka coming out of it and kept thinking "Astro would enjoy this!"

I admit, I was worried when I read "ice sculpture"...

Lol, well it was a sculpture of butt naked cherubs so it would just be wrong to try and lick them!!

I cannot even imagine the noise level in the room if we ever did manage to meet up!

The accents would be amazing as well as guessing who was who! Oh well, I can dream.

Some people have cyber bullies - I have cyber friends.

I'm pretty sure if we all met up there would definitely have to be some type of security measures - coz we are talking about us and we are a bit of a crazy bunch!!

I just read the first chapter. I added the fic to my alerts. But I'm not sure I'm going to read it.

I have to agree Air and Starry Eyed Inside were better reads than Volition, which was still quite good.

Rochelle Allison's Air was a good read--light and sweet. Glad she added the futuretake recently as it provided a nicer ending.

Edward and Bella meet at a summer barbeque. A story about - what else - falling for someone, hard. Once a WitFit.

Also read Starry Eyed Inside--another good read. It's been a while since I read a HS fic that really gets inside the mind of an adolescent girl without writing it immaturely, so this was refreshing. Spanning all four years of HS, I found it a little long, but it was written so well that I easily got lost in the story as well as my own HS memories. (Like Volition, I think the story could have used some EPOV throughout the story and not just in the outtake.)

I am so down right now. I just can't find a fic to hold my interest recently. I don't usually flounce but I can see now why sometimes it's necessary. The guy sneaks in through her bedroom window, her dad is a police chief (he couldn't be a regular cop, no he had to be chief of police) and the Hero sounds just like our Edward by saying: “And I tried so hard to stay away, but I can’t. I’m not strong enough to keep denying whatever this is we could have.”

Then while reading Hopeless AND tSoT every time the female lead in the book bakes cookies I think of Wide Awake. Ugh... I began to wonder if it was a prerequisite for these YA type books that their heroine has to bake sweets?? Really? They can't do something else?

The fact that its 4am and I'm pms-ing doesn't help all the dislike (I will not say hate, I will not say hate) I'm experiencing at the moment.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Now I'm off to make a batch of pancakes and a realllly strong coffee.

Have you read Click and Strum by Bratty-Vamp or The Best Man by same writer? Both are pretty good and also Green also by bratty vamp is one of my faves.
After you got that all off your chest I think it's hilarious that you went and made pancakes of all things.
