  • Hi! I'm Ellachanted and I'm a fanfic-oholic.
Thread #4 - We are crazy talkers here!

ADULT DISCUSSION HERE, SO TRY TO KEEP IT CLEAN! UM NO, WAIT! IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED, LOOK AWAY NOW!

This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so please play nice

Because we know drypen's watching

I think the plot idea was great. but it was very rushed.

Does anyone know any good vampire bella fanfic? Thanks!
Are you looking for fics were Bella is already a vampire or where she gets turned by Edward.

I love the Broken Angel series by drotuno You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
There are four stories and Bella gets changed in the first one.

Nolebucgrl has 2 - Sacrificial Lamb - a remake from the end of Eclipse it was good and Taste of Innocence which others have liked but I found Edward to be annoying after a while.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Google drive comes with I think, 5gb of storage. Dropbox has less, but it also has lots of ways to earn extra space, and I'm up to about 5gb there too. If you're not already on Dropbox, I can send an invite and get us both free space there. Both apps work quite well on my tablet. There is another called Copy, and I dunno how, but I have like, 22gb of space with them. [ (if you check into it, use this link , I think we both get extra storage if you use it.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Loginr=3Mp73p )

Thanks Matron! :)  :-*  I just signed up for an account. That is a great free upload site. They usually don't give you that much space for free.

Me too! I loved Fenceward and Chefgirl! I started it while trying to read Heartbreak Remedy by dariachenowith, (which incidentally became my first flounce). After OSotF, I couldn't go back to lemon, lemon, lemon, where's the plot?, lemon, lemon...

I'm still reading these stories in the angst contest and they're killing me. But, they're SO good!   :'(

Omgness. I have been trying to read all the stories on the DTE, but needed a break from all the lemons, so I have read one story so far on the angst contest.  Let me say that I think I was delusional when I started reading. Yes I knew there would be angst, but I wasn't expecting what was written.

Just want to say that I feel bad for introducing myself and then disappearing. I work 12 hour night shifts as an RN and I just worked the last two nights. I pretty much work then sleep, then work again.  Just got off this am and can't sleep. Wanna post to some things before I sleep and will be on again later after I finally sleep 8)

You were a chatty bunch today! I am stuck at school for a meeting that starts at 7pm, using my work computer to catch up on all of the important things.

And you say I'm pervy? Freudian slip, perhaps? Hmmm?

I'm really not that pervy - and nowhere near as kinky as limomx2, obviously (Madam Shit Scruncher!  :D :D :D).

Is this really an unknown term? It's meant to say a lot about a person's personality. We have radio shows that always ask this of celebs when they do a rapid fire question segment at the end of an interview. I just assumed it was a common question asked the world over.

I'm starting to think I speak a different language to the rest of you, but we have a phrase for when one displays this tpe of behaviour.

Rock out with your cock out!

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Well...now that I know what you meant OFFICIALLY, LOL, as a scruncher, I still consider myself one. Although as a nurse I have to be organized and time oriented, in my every day life that is not the case.

Don't worry hun - I know how you feel as I work 14 hour night shifts as a HCA in a nursing home, by time I get home I'm knackered and before I go to bed I've gotta sort out the animals (and we have quite a few!!), make sure my daughter gets ready and goes to school on time as she's your typical teenager who'd sleep all day given the chance, then sort out my one year old son, do housework and try to get a few hours sleep in before the hubby gets back from work.  :o
Thank god, it's the summer holidays and I'm not at work at the moment.

So don't apologize hun we totally understand and when you do come on here I'm sure you'll feel welcomed as we've got a great bunch of girls on here.  :-*

See I'm so sleepy still I read that and thought "what is a Nal? If they are awesome, I want to be one too!"

Sigh.  Yeah.  Obviously I'm not. :(
:P

Ok sorry I am going on post overload but I am about to go to sleep so I am getting it all out at once.
I was totally in the same mind set as you when I first read this. I blame it on lack of sleep. Lol. I for real LOL when you posted this because I was thinking exactly the same thing. What does nal mean?

Awww thanks for understanding. It is awesome when someone gets how it is to work 12 shifts. Man how do you do it. A teenager and a one year old. You deserve a gold metal for all that you do. Housework?  What is that?  Lol. It can be so trying to work, take care of the kids, and then try to be awake enough to give valuable time to the hubby.
Speaking of hubbies, he will be home soon so off to bed I go to get some rest.

That is awesome that he does all that. My hubby is pretty amazing too, in the fact that he does cook and clean some things, like the dishes.  But the laundry is piling up to be folded. Thank goodness he is a great guy!!!
