So I started reading You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
 
Is it just me? Or is it really annoying when they change the eye color of the characters.  Edward has green eyes or topaz eyes.  Not blue.  Bella has brown eyes or topaz eyes, not blue.  GRRRRR.   

I will try to ignore this, but if she points it out too much, I'm going to have to flounce.....

I'm ignoring the character descriptions at the moment. She hasn't made Edward blonde yet, so I'm dealing. 

There was a high school football story I flounced. Edward had black hair, dark eyes and tanned skin.  He also had a lot of muscles.  Bella had black hair & black eyes.  All I could think was "If you wanted a Jacob/Leah fic you should have written one."  Because that's what the description sounded like.   

I think I flounced that one as well!


I read Terroir and at the end I was asking for green eyed babies and Astro was: he has blue eyes! Lol
But if its too much of a difference then yeah... It can be annoying. But it also depends on how many times those descriptions will appear.
If Bella is in every sentence "gazing at his black eyes".... Or something .

Exactly! So far, other than that first description of the eyes? It's all good. No gazing into blue eyes.

I have not had any problems with the stem on the Diva-- I've used it for 4 months now.  You can trim it if it does pinch.  And I agree with Loopy on the flow.

I DL'd this from the 152 thread. Has anyone read Grim Reaper's Release by Chadley? Is it any good? At more than 300,000 words I want to make sure it's a B/E HEA that is worth reading before I start. Thanks!

If you want something you can sink your teeth into, I'd try Just4ALE's An American Vampire in Chicago series. It follows Bella and Edward's relationship from when they first meet. By the last (fourth) book, you have a unique universe of vampires that was definitely worth the read to getting there, and Bella is kick @ss. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

For something in the middle length wise, I really enjoyed Morgan Locklear's Bella Voce (plus the sequel Brutte Parole, which you don't need to read as Bella Voce is complete on its own).
