Congrats on the Threadbusters! I think there's lots of work to be done with all the reorganizing.

My kids are all around 5 years apart. The boys helped me make it through my daughter's horrible teenage years. My 9 year old is helping me through the soon-to-be 15 year old's teenage years, but who will help me through the youngest one's?

With my oldest, I'm convinced the gypsies stole my child when she turned 15, put a changeling in her place, then brought her back when she turned 18.

So you'll have babies to love you through your daughter's teenage years, but THEN the babies will both be teenagers at the same time! God help you then.

Thanks for the heads up When I read this it made me think, what would our parents say about us.

I know what you mean hun - I think my parents were just happy to make it through my teen years.

I think they thought they'd never make it after having to tell them a couple days after my 15th birthday that I was 3 months pregnant by my youngest brothers best friend.

One of the benefits of having a husband is rooting. So i try to get that on a regular basis...not as much as when we were in our 20s or 30s but enough to satisfy this 40+ yr old body...and, as we are known for overshare

I thought Enkindle My Soul by AmateurBoredom123 was okay. It was one of those lost and found on the 152 thread that I thought I'd try. It was more canon than I've been reading, except Bella's an angel, which sparked my interest. Bella's really sweet here, I just wasn't in the mood for it I think. Pulled from ff, it was probably rated T, lots of fluff, but some drama too. The one thing I really liked about it is that she assumed (to an extent) the reader knows canon

Art After 5 is one of my FAVS! You definitely need to read this one. Great characters, great writing.

Withering the Ferns is really good too. Shorter fic but has some great twists.

I've read several on the list but two really stand out. 1. Art After 5 and its sequel Counterpoint were great! 2. I also really liked Age of Consent. Its taboo subject matter can get a little intense for some. (His Personal Assistant was good, but not nearly as good to me as The Office/Beautiful Bastard. Withering The Ferns was a good short story.)

Thanks for reminding me of this blog! I found it when I first started reading FF, and this is a great first list to go by. I lost it somehow, so thanks for bringing it up. Just reading the list reminded me of fics I forgot loving. I think you've already mentioned reading MotU, WA, HL5, EP, The Office, HA, and CW&IA (If not those are musts from this list). On top of Art after Five (and Counterpoint), I'd suggest also reading The Tutor, The Screamers, Creature of Habit, Tropic of Virgo and Poughkeepsie.

You need to get Age of Consent from A Different Forest. The version on ffnet is incomplete. I started it & realized it was not complete. By the time I found it on ADF, I moved on. But it started out good.

I quite like to read a one shot every so often, so, as I mentioned earlier and now that I know how to do it, thanks to all the experts here, I am going to save each of the contests currently running (Angst, DTE, Make Me Laugh, Fruit of the Vine) as one document.

Would I be able to post them here (on the 152 thread) even though they would each still be available separately on ff.net? Would anyone else want them, or am I just being Nal again?

Not too nal! I hope ficfangirl says yes. It'd be great to have each contest as one doc!
