This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Can someone tell me why it took me so long to read this story?! It is the sweetest story, one of the most heartbreaking Edward I've read, and more surprisingly a really great Bella, I cried like a baby.

If you haven't read it I highly recommend it, if I had any complaints it would be it's not long enough, Purelyamuse has implied she may write more but...*shrug. she's a pretty good writer, I'm off to read the rest of her stories.

Masen Days is one of my favorite fics! I haven't read all of her stories yet but Overpass is another really good story by PurelyAmuse.

And CosmoGirl just posted another fic. It was written and completed in the last 2 days. I'm hoping it's good as she also wrote What Speaks in Darkness, Contextually Speaking and Adult Book Store (to name a few) that are really good.

Ella, so an hour of this and an hour of that isn't working either. If anything, I feel like I'm reading slower--getting distracted by the other story still lingering in my mind. I'm still experimenting, we'll see. It probably doesn't help that Dick for Hire is owning me and LYLS is not.

Speaking of, I'm about to start chapter 13 of Lolashoes' Let Your Light Shine and, honestly, I'm only still reading this because of the glowing recs you ladies wrote about it. So far it has only been lemons, which is understandable because it's their honeymoon, but there should be some plot in 137 pages. Can someone reassure me that plot will come? I cannot imagine another two books without a juicy story. (P.S. It's written well, so I'm still interested, but losing a little faith here).

I'm hating the new ads too. I don't see them on my laptop (yay adblock plus! Boo to PTS new "please don't block our ads" thing that pops up all the time now), but I do see them on my tablet, because I can't get an ad blocker for Chrome mobile.

It's a time travel fic and is written so well it should be published. Her characters are great! I don't want to give anything away but it's so wonderful you should all have it at the top of your TBR.

Bella is a scientist in 1942. In 2010, Edward suffers from a traumatic past. A chance event allows their paths to cross, but decisions they have not yet made threaten to tear them apart. AH

My husband is an Expendables fanatic - he loves all the 80's action heroes.

He was telling me that there is a 3rd part coming out featuring a guy he had never heard of - Kellan Lutz.

I haven't seen 1 or 2 but, I will certainly be watching 3!

LOL me too! The first time in a long time that I was able to suspend E/B was when I read through Chloe Cox's Club Volare series. The characters were strong enough that I was able to escape and imagine something different for a change!

So I've started reading The Gentleman From Washington State after PK's rec and I came across this "Edward thought Smythe a milquetoast, Ken Doll of a conservative who was a fool if he couldn't figure out what Jane was really like." Now, what is a 'milquetoast'? Does the author mean milk-toast or is it an Americanism I've somehow missed? Answers on a postcard...

I know, it's like she forgot she wasn't supposed to remember. Well about letting her see Beth, I don't know I means it's not like she missed her, she didn't even remember her.
