Well, from Limom and the receptionist's reaction, I might just have to step in and sign for that package. 
But then again, she mentioned others that might be available... As long as the hotties have brains, I'm available. I was already thinking about Ella's suggestion of visiting bars near military bases, but I'm not sure where they'd be around here.

Specific type...specific type...It's been so long since someone asked me that. With my dating history, all I know is what I don't want!    I guess that's one of the benefits of getting older--you know what you don't want and can better see what you do want, like someone smart and passionate about something in life.    (And just to clarify the passionate, while it's certainly needed in the bedroom, it can't be all about me. While it can be fun in fanfic, having a bipolar ex, who was obsessively controlling, is not fun in RL.)

Oh... THANK YOU! Hmmmm, men in uniform... just like my father and brother... uh, oh I might get in trouble and end up in a Greek play... I'll need to be careful with this new information or at least wait for Fleet Week in New York.

Oh Ella,  Like the way you handled that author/translator.  Very well done

She seemed very upset.  But I looked at her page and mostly she does translations of other writer's stuff. I'm sure it is hard because you really have to change things to make the story work in a different language, yet the person you are translating for may not want things "changed"   

And I'm sure the person who posted they didn't like her stories didn't mean anything nasty by it.  Unfortunately, writers need to learn to take criticism and that not everyone will like your stuff.  And others will love it.

I'm partial to Air Force guys.... But Navy and Marines have the best uniforms....

You all are cracking me up with the finding guys.  It is so hard now a-days. Used to be you met them in school and that was it.  Or your family or friends introduced you.  Now it's all eharmony and match.com.  I'm glad I met my guy and whenever I think maybe I should dump him and find something better, I think about all the hassle and decide he really isn't that bad.  Even if he doesn't ever clean the toilet or vacuum the floors. Sigh. 

He does cook.  Of course that is mostly because he doesn't like my mostly vegetarian cooking....  And I can't help it if I get distracted and forget to turn down the rice....  I kind of like the crispy stuff at the bottom of the pot.

And thanks to Astro and RD Mickey for all the Rob p0rn.  Sigh.... I'm in love again....

I love the RAF's uniform...But honestly I'm keen on all uniforms apart from the police, the Met police uniform is just yuck; it looks flammable!
