And the dog waiting for him everyday. :'(

Did you know that's actually a true story?

Yeah, I did.

My dad said that when my grandfather died, his dogs spent the entire night howling.
And he had been in the hospital for a while.

 :'( :'(

Dogs are so loyal. So different from people.

My dad got home at the end of it, he had seen it before, he cried again.

My dad after we were born got softer. And as he gets older he cries watching movies, if there are animals and children involved.

I'm watching Hachi: A Dog's Tale.

 :tear: :tear: :tear:
 :tear: :tear: :tear:

I watched this with friends. Everyone around me kept crying, I just kept eating my junk food. I am so not a dog person apparently.  :o Please, do not hate me! I still cry every time I watch The Notebook.

In other news, I have a brand new job. I am waitressing at a beach bar for the weekends. The hours are killing me (2 pm until closing, around 4 am), but the pay + tips are great! Of course, come Monday I am totally exhausted and I still work at the bookstore 5 days a week so there is practically no free time. On a positive note, my exams went great :)

I've been (slowly) reading You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login by AngryBadgerGirl. t's nice and mostly fluff, but the characters get on my nerves at some points.

I know I have asked before, but since I'm too lazy to go back to the old thread (:P) does anyone have any good angst rec's for me? Preferably not abuse-related.

My sister got a job but i couldn't..have summer school. :(.... i HATE spectroscopy and physical chemistry..... :'( :'( :'(....if we're talking about movies that make us cry has anyone watched 'the curious case of Benjamin Button'?

I haven't heard of this film.  Also, I haven't read/watched The Notebook.  I have the book and the film on Tivo but just don't fancy it it for some reason - am I really missing out?

It was great. But oh so sad.

I've watched the notebook, but I'm weird, I don't keep watching movies again and again.
The only one I watched a lot of times was legends of the falls. Brad Pitt rocked the long hair back then.
I was 12 and watched at least 3 times at the movie theater.

Wasn't Legends of the Falls the one where he tips his hat and water springs up making him look way too sexy? That was nice. *sigh*

Hats, horse riding, and his naked butt. It's a must.

I don't like the idea of depressing myself just for the sake of it, so, I will leave it until I am in the mood.

I think Brad looked his best in Meet Joe Black.

I have said it before but, there are quite a few films I will watch whenever they are on as I like them so much.  One which lifts my mood immediately is Hitch - I have absolutely no attraction to Will Smith but, think he is funny as anything in this film.

I get LotF and A River Runs Through It mixed up, but he used to look so hot with the long hair. (Except for his cameo in True Romance).

I'm not sure if I think that's when he looked his best, but I love that movie!

Put it this way - I wouldn't kick him out!

I don't like long hair or buzz cut and am not overly fond of the bearded look.  Each to their own I suppose - which keeps things interesting.

I loved long hair, but not everyone can have it and look good.

But my crush on him went away after he got together with Angelina Jolie.

I never really had a crush on him.  I have to admit I love the fact he is with Angelina.  He seems to be really happy now, with her.

I don't condone the cheating aspect but, when it's right - it's right.  The chemistry in Mr and Mrs Smith was amazing - and that's just the taster we were allowed to see.

I never really crushed on him, but he was hot when he was younger--long hair or dapper (as in Meet Joe Black). But I don't think he's aging as well as I thought he would. Fortunately, his sexy times are memorialized on the silver screen (or in data on our TiVOs).  :D . Hmmmm, I think I may have to have a Pitt film fest next weekend...

It's not like I wanted him to stay with Jen out of pity or obligation. Who knows if Angelina was the only reason that the marriage ended.

But I still feel sorry for Jen. Not just because he moved on, but mainly of how the media never let go of it. To this day, how many years after it,  it's rare to read an article about Brad,Angelina and not have Jen mentioned.

Like every time they adopted a new child, or a new child was born, they would say poor forever single and childless Jen.

I bet Jen hates being pitied, but I do pity her. How the media won't let her move on and forget. Cause when the media talks about Angelina is not about how she was a maneater, but now it's all about her kids, charity and cancer. She got to move on.

Who knows? This is holywood. They don't live by the same rules as the rest of the world
