This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement. 

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so please play nice

I haven't heard of this film.  Also, I haven't read/watched The Notebook.  I have the book and the film on Tivo but just don't fancy it it for some reason - am I really missing out?

I thought The Notebook was alright....a bit boring, though.

And im probably one of very few women who didn't cry. At all.

I thought The Notebook was alright....a bit boring, though.

And im probably one of very few when who didn't cry. At all.

I'm not a crier. I didn't cry watching the notebook.
But dogs and puppies.

It was great. But oh so sad.

I've watched the notebook, but I'm weird, I don't keep watching movies again and again.
The only one I watched a lot of times was legends of the falls. Brad Pitt rocked the long hair back then.
I was 12 and watched at least 3 times at the movie theater.

Oh my Yes on Legends of the Fall. That movie was awesome and Jeeeesus Brad was hot with the long hair. And....the bare ass shot? Yes, please. There was a lot of play, pause, rewind, play,pause, rewind action going on during that scene.

ETA: sigh. Auto correct pisses me off

 :D Not the order I read them, but the order I would recommend reading them. Beyond Time would be my top choice. The momatu story is great too, but I found it a little long. Living Backwards was fun. Only Human was good and has a companion piece called Anatomy of a Human.

I think I was about 14...my bestie (and she's still my bff 21 years later....and that makes me feel old  >:( ) and I were crushing on him hard core....watched all of his movies and had mag pics posted all over our walls. But...I don't know why, but the whole ditching Jen for Angelina killed the appeal for both of us and that was the end of that. The pics came down and were replaced with Gavin Rossdale.

My best friend gave me a poster of him on legends.

I got to grab Gavin's ass on a concert once. He went, god my cold meds are messing with me, can't remember the words. Mosh pit? Surf crowding? Well, just on top of me. His "tushie" was on my face. I was there with two male friends who mocked me for years after that. I was 17 then, so 2000 in Nottingham.
