Just wanted to say hello as I am a new member here. Your posts have been quite entertaining from what I've read so far, and I can see you have some wonderful recs as well.

I just finished my first two fics: Wide Awake and High Anxiety. Both were so great they sucked me in and now, well, I'm searching for more! Any recs for stories that are similar would be appreciated.

I am so glad to hear this!  I LOVED this book (didnt read it as a fic) and can't wait to see what happens after the decision he was forced to make in the end!   

Anyways, I haven't read Gabriel's Inferno either, but if they are so good I should give it a try . I have to say I never finished reading The University of Edward Masen  I just never got around to it.

I don't think I've read a book that was ff and then it was published, except Lingus (I love Mr. North) and that one because the story was already published.

Was Lingus any good?  I have Mr. North on my kindle but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. It's a lighter read, right?  Not depressing, angsty etc?

A little off topic.
I am reviewing posts on this site and my thumb was hovering over the page and accidentally hit the report to the moderator icon. What is the protocol on this? It was a mistake!!! I feel so awful. What does it mean anyway, report to the mod. It certainly does not sound like a good thing. If anyone gets called to the headmistresses office, even if it's the HM herself, I apologize.

What did it say when you clicked the button?  I have never clicked it on this forum... but on previous forums if you click it a box pops up and then you get to type in why you are reporting it.   I'm sure people click them accidentally all the time.

For those of you that didn't like Gabriel's Inferno because of the third person...   have you read any commentary from the snarky narrator? LOL    This makes me laugh:
