This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Yes thank you - that's the one - I got the country wrong but I had the right first letter. I still can't remember the director's name - Alan something? Rob was at his house for a gathering and they jammed with guitars and the guy's sister I think did drums. Rob hasn't worked for him but he may in the future. This is so annoying - not remembering the name.

Thanks again Bluegeek - it was indeed Adam Shankmann I was trying to think of. This time I got the right number of letters for the first name and the first initial. I believe its the Go Go Gala. I was on Robsessed trying to track it down and I was getting close but my computer decided to take forever and I said to hell with it and was going to try again later. My mom works at a library, so I was always there growing up and helping friends with research projects (before the internet and computerized card catalogs) so I always like a good research query. Kids must have it so easy these days with google.

I read both stories you mentioned and liked them. Illegal Contact is completely different from The Practicum. The only similarity is that they`re both teachers and that Edward is new in town.

Have not read Conversation Between Adults or Branching Inward Will look into it.

I worked my way through college many moons ago on work-study at the college library a couple of years, I volunteered at the local library for a year, I was a junior high substitute librarian filling in for the regular librarian after I graduated and while I was looking for a full time job also many moons ago. I remember card catalogs. Long live Google!!!

Loopy - I adore you but the mayo peanut butter combo is making my stomach cringe. Separately they're fine but together - ugh!

Loopy, I love mayo and I love PB. But together? That sounds really yuk. *shutters* I actually learned how to make mayo. It's just eggs, oil, some kind of acid and ground mustard. I didn't think I wanted mustard in my mayo so I didn't put it in the first time I made it. Didn't taste right. It was much closer to real mayo flavor with the mustard.

The hubby begrudgingly makes home-made mayo sometimes if I nag him even though he knows what's gonna happen when he does.

This this this. First Sterek fic I read, and it hooked me.

It's all human, no supernatural stuff. Other than basic personality characteristics, it's totally different, so no real knowledge of the show is needed. It's funny and sexy and sweet and I just adore this fic.

If you follow me on GR, I do have a Sterek shelf, I always review the stuff I really like, so long as it's on GR.

I love to listen to scores while I read. My least fav movies of the series was New Moon, but to me, it is the best score to listen to of the series.

Hate when movies/tv shows change actors! There was a change of actor in Game of Thrones from the end of one season to the beginning of the next. I'm guessing it wasn't as big of a deal for people that had months in between the seasons but we watched it all straight through so I had a hard time adjusting!

if this is true, it would really be disappointing. since the next 2 books has more plot material, i was hoping Jamie can show he is a better actor.

to allow the LEAD actor to back out? for all her controlling ways, she would be pretty stupid not to legally lock them in for the trilogy. [emoji19]

ABSOLUTLEY !! The remaining chapters were redemption for me in suffering so much previously. The flow is better, the plot movement is better, the dialogue, just everything is BETTER. You did well, just a little complaining here and there, but heck it took me 5 restarts and a month to get through DIA (all of that was pre-dual and reunion). I was not a happy camper.

That means like me....your gonna disappear this week. And the ending....your gonna need Voyager....so be prepared to start that one.

Me - two chp left of Voyager to go (but that is well over a 100 pages).

No one seemed to care when Victoria was recasted between Twilights 2 and 3, but she's not nearly as important to that series as Christian. That would have been like recasting Edward! It would really need a whole series reboot, and recasting EVERYONE, and I don't see the studios going through that again.

I REALLY don't get the people making a big deal out of parents and significant others not wanting to go see this film. Who the heck wants to watch their SO doing that stuff on film for all the world to see? And who wants to even think of their child doing that stuff?

I'm with you. I have a strict "don't ask, don't tell" policy with my daughter. I did all the sex talks when she was growing up. Now that she's an adult, I have to hope she was listening. She still gets the safe sex talk every year before she heads back to school, but that's as far as I'm going.

I had a dream this morning that she told me she was pregnant. I'm really hoping it's not one of my prescient dreams. I'm hoping it's Loopy's news about her daughter that has seeped into my subconscious and I'm projecting.
