I REALLY don't get the people making a big deal out of parents and significant others not wanting to go see this film. Who the heck wants to watch their SO doing that stuff on film for all the world to see? And who wants to even think of their child doing that stuff?
I'm with you. I have a strict "don't ask, don't tell" policy with my daughter. I did all the sex talks when she was growing up. Now that she's an adult, I have to hope she was listening. She still gets the safe sex talk every year before she heads back to school, but that's as far as I'm going.I had a dream this morning that she told me she was pregnant. I'm really hoping it's not one of my prescient dreams. I'm hoping it's Loopy's news about her daughter that has seeped into my subconscious and I'm projecting.
ABSOLUTLEY !! The remaining chapters were redemption for me in suffering so much previously. The flow is better, the plot movement is better, the dialogue, just everything is BETTER. You did well, just a little complaining here and there, but heck it took me 5 restarts and a month to get through DIA (all of that was pre-dual and reunion). I was not a happy camper. That means like me....your gonna disappear this week. And the ending....your gonna need Voyager....so be prepared to start that one. Me - two chp left of Voyager to go (but that is well over a 100 pages).
I'm glad that they're back in Scotland... I can't remember exactly what happens next but I remember being quite distraught at some point between now and book 4. Just not sure when it's all going to happen. I saw that you are going to take a break after Voyager. I think I need to do the same thing. Last time i read these I quit half way through book 4 because I was burned out. I think after Voyager I'll try to read something else too!
Voyager was a good stopping place. Not too much of a cliffy and they are in a relatively good spot. I have never read this series and got sucked in by watching the show. There was no way I could stop at the end of DIA. Terrible cliffy IMO. Think I'm going to give the Angel series by drutono a go again. Vamp.. Lemons. I would love to have had more details on lemons in Outlander Series.
I think it's good to go into Book 4 fresh too because if I remember correctly it moved really slowly! It's very unlike me to stop in the middle of a book, but I did with that one. I'm just dying to know what else life had in store for them after that book so I am determined to finish. And yes, I think Gabaldon could write some AWESOME lemons. They are all a bit too much fade to black for me.
Totally agree. When I started reading the series, my phrase was "she would take 50 pages to describe a fart" since she is very wordy. That made the ust for Jamie good, but I wanted the 50 pages of lemons too.
Finished Voyager. DD where are you!?Best of the three I think. I even re-read a chp or two and I never re-read fics or books. My fav had to be Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. I think I need to cleanse my palette, so time to go digging for something else to read. I have been deep in Outlander a long time now. Maybe vamp or something. Time for some fishing.
Hey guys I'm new here! I recently found some published Twifiction on Amazon very interesting like Cara Dee's Touch series and Aftermath series ( Yeah I'm Cara's huge fan) I want some recommendations from you guys of your fav published Twifiction! Just tell me the names on Amazon! Thanks a lot~
I'll definitely let you know what I think of it hun. This is why I'm sceptical about this news but you never know as this is Hollywood after all. :DLol, someone on here made a comment about Don earlier on this thread or the last thread not watching Fifty and I remember commenting about how I still and probably always will picture him with the bad hair and jacket from Miami Vice.
From Gossip Cop:Jamie Dornan Has NOT Quit Fifty Shades of Grey Sequels, Rep Calls It “Conjecture”By Michael Lewittes | 1:34 pm, February 24th, 2015 Jamie Dornan has not quit the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels, despite widespread reports. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct these stories. His rep tell us the claims are only based on “conjecture.”The story originated in the Australian magazine NW, which Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted for inaccurate stories. According to the latest tale, Dornan will not be back for the second and third Fifty Shades of Grey films, based on the successful book trilogy, because his actress and musician wife Amelia Warner is reportedly uncomfortable with the sadomasochistic and domination themes in the movie.Naturally, the report of Dornan allegedly quitting set off a firestorm, with fans of the book and film tweeting such things as “Was going to go see Fifty again today, but I think I’ll hold off now until I know if @JamieDornan will continue.” Another fan tweeted, “Jamie Dornan won’t appear in the next films of 50 Shades because his wife don’t like it … #whipped divorce her man.”But it is NOT true. Dornan has NOT quit the film franchise. His rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that talk of Dornan bailing on Fifty Shades of Grey is “pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet.” We also reached out to Focus Features, the film company behind the movie, and were told that they hadn’t heard anything about Dornan dropping out. Focus Features similarly reiterated that there’s no news yet about a second film. Gossip Cop will continue to follow the story
