Kimki I just finished Garwood's The Secret. I liked it. Quick fun read no angst.

And I ended up pissing my mom off. I remember she got mad at me, but I can't remember what I said. At all.

We started drinking at 18:00. By 21:00 I was in bed. I basically drank one entire bottle of wine. My grandma had one glass.  But I have no idea why I got so drunk from it.

Woke up really rested, no hangover. And no weird dreams ( daily occurrence).

But try to remember 1) how young Jamie is and 2) Jamie and Claire don't lie to each other....'A relationship can stand secrets but not lies' I'm paraphrasing...I think, RDM, as you still have a way to go with this series you should do what I did and cheat on us. Outlander Book Club forum, join; it really helps talk you down from the edge. They've all read the book twenty times and are the equivalent of an AA meeting when the going gets tough.

Lol. I would be slaughtered over there I am sure, because I lack a verbal filter and it is def not my fav writing. I watched a lot of vids too. She's just a wee bit cocky isn't she. I've kept reading, been through another rape. Ya'll are correct, she hates her characters. And it's not that it is hard to read about it, but I hate being pissed at Jamie.

Which means it is of little importance and tame to what I will be reading..

Not the story [emoji23] I wrote all the ladies here a Dear John and joined/had an affair with  another forum, so yeah, I'm a cheater ( feel free to stick me on you GR shelf DD) [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]....it helped having the dedicated support for the rough bits....on OBC they have chapter break down and analysis and I think one woman wrote the companion guide so yeah they. Are. Hard. Core! [emoji13]

And, I don't agree with DD that she 'hates' her characters! 8 long arse books? Of course she's going to put them through the wringer, she needs stuff to write about! [emoji12]

She could let them have a HEA and write about something else...

She is a great writer. I was so upset with Outlander - the prison thing - i was fuming and venting to strangers. I sat my mom down and i started complaining about the book for half na hour. She hadnt read it.

I just gave Outlander for my grandma as a xmas gift and told her to be prepared for all the feelings it will give her.

I was exhausted after reading it. And i still think Jamie is better than Mr Darcy, Edward and whoever else there is out there.

But i just hate her plot twists. Dont read if you dont want to be spoiled
