She could let them have a HEA and write about something else...New books, new settings and characters. She is a great writer. I was so upset with Outlander - the prison thing - i was fuming and venting to strangers. I sat my mom down and i started complaining about the book for half na hour. She hadnt read it.I just gave Outlander for my grandma as a xmas gift and told her to be prepared for all the feelings it will give her.I was exhausted after reading it. And i still think Jamie is better than Mr Darcy, Edward and whoever else there is out there. But i just hate her plot twists. Dont read if you dont want to be spoiledSorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.Really, how can you think she doesnt hate them?
you really should read the bronze horseman! Alexander beats all these guys out! not kidding!
but he CHEATS
Are you being serious right now? [emoji15]
Another one on my list that Astro sent our way. MAYBE I will keep it on the TBR list, but hell I don't wanna read about it anytime soon.
Finalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly. A spoiler I have been looking for. That's it. Jesus H. Roosavelt Christ. *exhales slowly and whole body deflats*Why the hell would I want to read that?I.AM.SOOOOO.DONE.DD. The thousand books you sent me and knowing what I dislike about this soooooooo much. Which one do I begin?
It wasn't Astro it was me...RDM TBH is one of the best books I've ever read; out of the thousands of books, TBH is in my top 10 maybe top 5. If you don't believe me read all the 5* on GR. To reduce that book to a 'he cheats' is doing it such a disservice I have no words!
So what are the good points that would make me not think twice about the cheating? They would have to be mighty good. It's just about a hard limit for me.

are we still taking about The Bronze Horseman? I've only been skimming because I don't want to see any outlander spoilers on this darn Tapatalk. I could go on and on about why TBH is so amazing. It's my number 1 ever book! I don't think anything can ever dethrone it.

RDM if your looking for a fluffy, happy read. Take DD advice read Garwood's The Secret. I just finished it and it was such a relaxing experience. I finished Voyager on Monday and needed to recover from the emotional roller coaster, but still wanted Scottish men.
Yes it is on my TBR list. But after what I have gone through with Outlander, I don't want to read angst anytime soon. Still want highlander books though.
Sorry Demaris. I know we all were talking about it, oh, prob a year ago. It was just Astro I think emailed it to me. So what are the good points that would make me not think twice about the cheating? They would have to be mighty good. It's just about a hard limit for me.
I think that is a very wise decision to wait a long time between outlander and TBH. Alexander and Tatiana put me through the ringer. The highs and lows in this book were so extreme. I never cry when I read and this one had me shedding many tears (lol auto correct just said shedding baby bears ha). It was way more of an emotional roller coaster for me than outlander but then I didn't read past halfway through book 4 so I have no idea what is in store with Jaime and Claire.
I read TBH about 15 years ago....but it is angst with a capital A, you might want to wait a bit, a week? I didn't know cheating was a hard limit for you RDM ( I thought you like Mamasutra?) but in TBH I promise it doesn't take away from one of the most romantic heroes ever written. If you love Jamie Frasier, you will love Alexander Belov.
Ohh I read that when I was 16. For my A level. Don't remember much, I liked it, but was really freaked out by it.
Hold on, I have too check.Haven't read any Lindsay Lohan.Am a bit drunk right now
Kimki I just finished Garwood's The Secret. I liked it. Quick fun read no angst.
A Pirate's Love!!!! She wrote it forever ago... but its my favorite
I started with Lindsey's Secret Fire and then Fire of Winter and I also liked Kleypas' Again The Magic, something a bit different too.
Angst. Nope. Never been a fan, I have lived through it enough, so if given a choice, I don't want to read it too. I can read angsty moments, but not a series full of it.It is also why I won't touch Dusty with a 10 ft pole. I do love, love, love Jamie, I am just soooo pissed. I can handle heart-wrenching moments, but now I hope to goodness I can finish watching the show.
