I noticed he frowned every time he looked directly at the camera. He also had a package of Claritin, an allergy drug, in his hands. Looked like he was trying to read the directions. So his bad mood could be the paps or a headache. Though I do wonder why they still follow him around so much. I guess I shouldn't complain. I get pictures.
I've actually told Edwards Eternal that I love her writing but can't read the stories where Bella has blue eyes. I kind of get it. I have boring blue eyes and think brown eyes are great. So maybe if I had boring brown eyes I would think having blue eyes would be great. And really? Up until Edward? A red-headed guy with green eyes? Yeah, so not my idea of exciting. But maybe a guy with brown hair and red and gold highlights? I always test out EE's before reading. I was able to read Awaken (?) where Edward is blind. She only mentioned once that Bella had blue eyes so I could ignore it. But I am with you on checking it out. She gives Edward blue eyes a lot too.
It has been an allergy nightmare in New York lately - dry, windy and Spring blooming season - hope it doesn't spoil his birthday.
I think so many people said things to her that she doesn't mention "blue eyes" as often in her stories where she gives Bella blue eyes.
I think it might not be more than New York. With the drought in CA, everything is bloomi ng and at once. I know many people who are having a hell of a time with allergies. And I should have led off with this, but it takes alot of courage, Ella, to just come out and say what you did. I expect a firestorm from your comments, though I do think there are many who feel as you do.
Well, it is technically not a fan fiction if you change the main characters' physical description. There is a little bit of play with the vampires because you could go with their original human description or their vampire description. I'm also okay with stuff that can change. Such as hair color can be dyed. But it should be dyed and not natural. People get fat or lose weight or work out and get muscles. But you don't change height. Unless you are a shapeshifter. Also, I am currently reading a story where Bella swears in every sentence. I think they get this from the stories of Kristen because original Bella never swore. It is starting to get old. I realize there are people who swear a lot. And I have no problem with it where it makes sense. But I am about to flounce because I am getting tired of it. It is not a well written story anyway. Just an Actorward that's been on my list forever. At 22, she is a B*tch with a heart of gold. Yeah, maybe if she was 40 and worked the streets. She teaches dance and works with kids. Sigh. I really want to like it. But this is the 3rd time I've tried reading it.
Idealogically, I agree with you, but then again, there needs to be a discussion about what is actually canon, fanon or even headcanon. At this point in the Twiverse, some have it confused. I'll go easy. Rosalie is described as tall statuesque blonde. The illustrated guide has her at about 5'10". Nikki Reed is about 5'4", same as Kristen (and Ashley Greene for that matter). I'm not even sure that I can see Nikki Reed as Rosalie. Alice also (atleast in my head) needs to be shorter. That said, I do hope to get such helpful feedback if I ever get off my ass and write. And I am morbidly curious as to the fic.
It is called Just Got Lucky by Authenticstar. I downloaded it a long time ago. I don't think it is still on ffnet. Though it may be here. The other weird thing she does is that Bella and Alice are twins who grew up in Seattle and were from the area. But they throw out Spanish comments like they are native speakers. I never lived in Seattle, but my sister did. And when I would visit? Spanish was not a big language there. Not like Southern California. I thought maybe she was from another country, but she says on her profile she is from the US. I am with you on the whole mess up of characters in the movie. Though other than the height? I thought Ashley Greene did a good job of Alice.
Noted. And I like Ashley Green as Alice, too. I feel she did a very good job.And what the hell? I live in Northern California and while we do have some people who speak Spanish, it's no where near as common place as it is down in SoCal.
I'm getting braver over on Facebook. I actually have had people agree with a lot of my comments. But I try to be a little more polite there because there are some really crazy ones in the twific fanbase. Though usually? If you argue for canon, they take it better.

I also grew up in the Bay Area and I agree. There were pockets of Spanish speakers. But they were definitely not the largest non-English speaking population.
I finished Where We Fell by Amber Johnson and it was excellent! It's short, but just long enough to not feel rushed. Can't believe none of us have watched the uncensored 50SoG yet. I need to remedy that this weekend.
Its not downloading for me but I have to agree that something happened after loose lips friend of hers opened his mouth on April Fools' Day. None of his friends if you notice has confirmed, his family hasn't confirmed and actually she stopped referring to her family since then in interviews and they haven't confirmed or been heard from. She's supposed to be on a world tour by the way - what happened with that? I don't imagine sitting on Jean Paul Gautier's lap endeared her to a whole lot of people either. Oh yes by the way CharReader, I finally saw the rest of the pics on Robsessed from yesterday. Did you notice that for someone who isn't interested in the paps that she was looking in their direction across the street - and Rob was still glaring and she finally at one point took off her glasses so she wouldn't presumably be able to see them. On another note - for anyone who saw American Idol - Yes to Nick for winning - Scott Borchetta has just taken over his life..
