I've been meaning to read Prick so I guess I'll start that next.

I'm with you Ella, Jacob just does not do it for me.

OMG, I've been watching SoA and I can't stop. I started at 6pm and it's 2am now!!! I am so hooked!! I think I'm in love with Jackson.

That is hilarious!!  You know, I haven't read Never Never because I'm afraid of the cliffhanger.   I'll just keep waiting til it's finished. :)
I kind of wish I had waited to start it as well (and I love a good cliffy) as the wait is killing me, but the first 2 parts came out so close together (matter of weeks) that I thought the 3rd part would be out pretty quick as well but unfortunately that's not happened.  :(

Loopy, did you read Prick? (speaking of step sibling stories)

I was REALLY surprised by how much I liked it. LOL   It's not going to go down in history as the greatest piece of literature ever, but it was a fun read!
 >:D
I read it a while ago, really liked it I think I even gave it  :star: :star: :star: :star:, like you say hun it's definitley not going to be put any classics lists but it was a really good fun, sexy read and I loved Caulter, he was just so rebellious/sweet/sexy add in tatts and piercing = swoon-worthy.  :P :P
Have read the second one in the series - Tool, totally different people, kind of the same story being it step siblings but nice easy read. I've not got around to reading Cannon yet, but I'll probably give it a go real soon as Sabrina Paige is starting to be my go to author for step siblings.  :D :D

Gotta love Jax.  ;) :P
Now you've mentioned SoA, I'll have to go to my Mums and steal borrow her box set of it so I can re-watch it again.

Random post:
I'm watching Wimbledon and it's Federer Vs Murray, I don't find either of them attractive but there's definitely something about two guys running around in tight white shorts.    :P :P

I haven't read Tool or Cannon but I'm going to sneak those in when I need a change of pace from my current reads.    I liked that Prick was a short book...  well, it was just the right length.  :o :D    This was the first step siblings book I've read I think.    Do you have a favorite from this genre? LOL

Give it a try if you just want some hot lemony goodness. LOL    I hate the title, but the book was enjoyable.

I've wanted to watch SoA for years now and just never get around to it.  DH is just sure that I won't like it because he thinks there will be too much violence for me, but I can handle Game of Thrones so surely I can handle SoA?

Tool (and I think Cannon is as well) is about the same length (pun intended  :P :P) as Prick.
I think my fave books in this genre so far (and I've read quite a few) is Prick and Stepbrother Dearest by Penelope Ward.

To me, Jacob was selfish.  I couldn't see Bella being happy with him for very long.  Edward may have been a bit creepy with his need to keep Bella safe, but if it would have made her happy, he would have let her go.  That is love. Jake wouldn't have let her go. He'd rather she was dead.  So I really disliked Jake. Though really? With Edward, she technically was dead ;)

No, I know there are a lot of human Bella/Edward fics on Twilighted.  It's the vampire ones that tend to have too much B/Jacob.  And my two favorite 'Wards are Vampward and Actorward.

Ok, what's so great about Prick? I usually shy away from the trendy stuff, and stepbrother stuff is VERY trendy right now! Is it naughty? Smutty?Raunchy? (Fun?!)

Hmmm, now for some random stufff...

- is it only me but sometimes when i check back on some posts, my "thank you" was not recorded...moreso if i did it through tapatalk

- talk about "meant to be", "stars were aligned"... Magic Mike only showed 1 day here and i just happened to catch it when i made that decision to watch a movie rather than drive though traffic. It's really due to show here on July 15. My niece has been calling me a lucky b*tch for having watched it in "advance"

- stepbrother trend  - so far, i've only read tawny taylor's (don't bother). Looking forward to Sabrina Paige's trilogy based on your comments here. I remember there was an MC craze last year. thankfully, i read a few very good ones of those.

- was saddened by the divorce announcement of Ben and Jennifer. I was hoping they would be one of the few lucky ones whose relationship would last til death do they part.  :( i hope matt damon has better luck, same for channing and jenna.... Yeah, yeah, call me crazy to be affected but there are just some hollywood couples i root for  :P. Courtney and Scott, pffft, that was a train wreck waiting to happen, actually surprised it lasted that long. Feel sorry for all the couples' kids though that will be affected by their parents separation... in the end, no matter how rich or famous you are, they face same real life problems everyone else experiences, but it's really more painful for them because the whole world knows and talks about it.

Courtney as in Kourtney Khadasian and Scott Disick?    To be perfectly frank - He's an alcoholic and wouldn't know how to be faithful if he tried.   She's got a screw loose for being with him this long.   Train wreck is an apt description.  At least her sister Khloe got her act together and dumped Odum.    Ben Affleck from all I've heard has a gambling problem.  It probably hasn't helped that they've both got successful careers.  It probably also didn't help him that he got into his little "bit of trouble" with PBS on Finding Your Roots with Dr. Lewis Gates.  He tried to dictate what was shown on his genealogy.  God forbid he had a slave owner as an ancestor.  He was embarrassed.  Threw his weight around.  Dr. Gates got around it by going another direction using the excuse that all he had was a man's name and nothing else and couldn't do the research.  SInce when Dr. Gates - you run one of the premiere Black-American genealogical groups in the country - there is no shortage of ways of looking for a slave owner - you've found every other slave and slave owner that's come down the pike including the white slave owner ancestor several greats grandfather of Spike Lee who took the news a hell of a lot better than Ben did.  It took the Associated Press doing their own research to make fools of both men.   The show is now in danger of being cancelled altogether by PBS because of "integrity issues" to say nothing of the fact that the research Ben approved on his mother having her be instrumental in the civil rights movement turned out to be a bunch of hooey. Grow up Ben and grow a pair.   You now look like an absolute idiot and Gates has damaged his own credibility.   For Jennifer, it could be the straw that broke the camel's back and she is probably very peeved and who can blame her.   At least they are being civil regarding the divorce and property settlement which in this day and age is unusual.

Same here with the Ty button, it just does as it pleases.
Still have not seen MM, stars were not aligned on my end..maybe this w/e.

I do feel sad about Jen and Ben. Y'know, I really feel like he and JLo have unfinished business. I think that romance is not resolved...what do I know.
One romance that I hope will work is Brad and Angelina...I do like that couple.
Was I the only one in Tom's and Katie's corner? After he jumped on Oprah's couch I was hopeful..I thought..this might be a great love...yeah, I know.
When your whole life is played out on stage for the whole world to see must be hell. I know there is some sort of disconnect there...I guess that we know they are real people but they are so far from our regular lives they don't feel like real people.

I'm still on SoA...I napped, ate and showered and took a few minutes to browse here then I'm back to the TV. I have not read anything!!!! That is unheard of in my world. SoA has upended my life!!!! I'm on season 4 with 3 more to go. I'm home for the week....that helps

Man, the bathroom vending machines sure have changed.  This was in a fairly normal restaurant, luckily my daughter hasn't started noticing things like this yet so I don't have to try and explain what some these are.

I don't know what they have in the men's bathrooms here in the States, but half the country would have a heart attack or a conniption fit if this stuff showed up in the ladies' restrooms!  The Puritan streak is still pretty strong here, even if the Supreme Court did decide that gays could marry in all 50 states!

I am in Austria, so things are a little more liberal here.  I saw more than i wanted to of my neighbor on the next terrace over on the really hot day we had last week and have definitely seen women sunbathing topless in public parks (not to mention the nudist section of the public island)

Wow! Some of our bathrooms (mostly in gas stations) have condom machines now, but was that first one a VIBRATOR machine? Has anyone ever been out and about and just thought "dangit, I need a vibe right now!!"?
