Maybe we will get lucky and the 10th anniversary re-release of the first book will spark some new interest and ff writers.
I'm hoping that too, but I haven't really seen any promotion for it so who knows. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Isn't it too soon to promote?? I mean isn't the 10 year anniversary in 2 more years?? Or is it sooner??
The 10th Anniversary book will be released this Tuesday- October 6th.
That would be kind of awesome.. That's in what 2 years .. I can wait.. Because really what choice do I have lol
Actually, it's next week. I remember buying the first Twilight book at Costco in 2005. It looked interesting. It sat on the shelf until Breaking Dawn was about to come out in 2008 and all my new Twitter friends were all going crazy over Rob. I had no idea what they were talking about. I wonder if there will be 10th anniversary versions of all the books. I really don't need that many versions. I have the hardbacks, the paperbacks (except of Twilight &BD - I got both initially in hb), audio books, and Kindle versions. Really. It is enough. Um, unless there are extra stuff?
Michangelina - this is probably a stupid question, but why be upset if Netflix has removed Twilight especially if you own the DVD's? Its not like you'll never see it again. Stop obsessing about twigs like we used to obsess about Kristen - look how that turned out. Think positive. I'm not buying anymore Twilight books - unless whatever the special edition contains is worthwhile. I'm assuming one of you will fill in the rest of us - if it is Midnight Sun - yay - if its something else, I'm reserving judgment. God - has it really been 10 years officially? Actually its only been 6 and a half for me because I didn't get into it until August 2009.
I will most likely be buying the new book. I have all of them in hardcover, including the illustrated guide, the short second life of bree, voluem 1&2 of Twilight the graphic novel and the first volume of the graphic novel of New Moon. I have an alert set up on Amazon as soon as the second volume is available.
I only have the last 2 books I lent mine out which I should have never have done.. But it works out cause I can buy a new one
Ya, I hear you there. I love my books and DVD's and I am very particular about lending them out because in the past there have been issues with me getting them back. I didn't read the first book until after I had seen the first Twilight movie on DVD. The hubby and I were in Walmart and he had mentioned that it sounded like a movie we would like because we are into vampire movies. Once I had seen that and that found out it was based on a movie, I got the book and read it then went and bought the next 2 books. BD wasn't out yet, but I grabbed it as soon as it was out.
I have them all... Everything... You name it, i own it. I have multiple copies of each book (readers & signed first editions), movie companions, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Same with the DVDs.. I mean, because who can choose between Wal-Mart's cover and Target's cover?!? I have a Twilight illness... Must... Have... It... All!!!Also random sh*t with Twilight in the name! I forgot about that.. The different covers of twilight dvd's at target and Walmart ..
Good for you, you can do it!!! If I were good with finding gifs or smilies I would put one of those in too.
Didn't they also have different extended and deleted scenes as well between Walmart and Target?
