I got a list of all TV shows and movies that were no longer on netflix and twilight was removed as of September 28 or 29th .. It made me so blue.. What made it even worse was I didn't even know it was on Netflix.. I don't know what's wrong with me lately I'm like depressed over twilight.. I think I need some help.. Because this can't be normal.. It just can't ..

Maybe we will get lucky and the 10th anniversary re-release of the first book will spark some new interest and ff writers.

I'm hoping that too, but I haven't really seen any promotion for it so who knows.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

That would be kind of awesome.. That's in what 2 years .. I can wait.. Because really what choice do I have lol  :-*
Actually, it's next week.  ;)

I remember buying the first Twilight book at Costco in 2005.   It looked interesting. It sat on the shelf until Breaking Dawn was about to come out in 2008 and all my new Twitter friends were all going crazy over Rob. I had no idea what they were talking about.

I wonder if there will be 10th anniversary versions of all the books. I really don't need that many versions.  I have the hardbacks, the paperbacks  (except of Twilight &BD - I got both initially in hb), audio books, and Kindle versions.  Really. It is enough.  Um, unless there are extra stuff?   :-[

Michangelina - this is probably a stupid question, but why be upset if Netflix has removed Twilight especially if you own the DVD's?  Its not like you'll never see it again.  Stop obsessing about twigs like we used to obsess about Kristen - look how that turned out.  Think positive.   I'm not buying anymore Twilight books - unless whatever the special edition contains is worthwhile.  I'm assuming one of you will fill in the rest of us - if it is Midnight Sun - yay - if its something else, I'm reserving judgment.   God - has it really been 10 years officially?   Actually its only been 6 and a half for me because I didn't get into it until August 2009.

I actually do not own twilight if you want to know the truth.. Lol crazy right?? And I think your 100% right about twigs.. But I never obsessed over Kristen .. I know this sounds crazy but I never believed they were even a couple. Do I think they messed around .. Maybe but I think their whole relationship was for show.. I probably will buy the twilight book only because I lent mine out and it was never returned to me   :-*

I will most likely be buying the new book. I have all of them in hardcover, including the illustrated guide, the short second life of bree, voluem 1&2 of Twilight the graphic novel and the first volume of the graphic novel of New Moon. I have an alert set up on Amazon as soon as the second volume is available.

Ya, I hear you there. I love my books and DVD's and I am very particular about lending them out because in the past there have been issues with me getting them back.

I didn't read the first book until after I had seen the first Twilight movie on DVD. The hubby and I were in Walmart and he had mentioned that it sounded like a movie we would like because we are into vampire movies. Once I had seen that and that found out it was based on a movie, I got the book and read it then went and bought the next 2 books. BD wasn't out yet, but I grabbed it as soon as it was out.

Omg.. Me too!! Once I saw the movie I bought all the books.. Except the last one.. And I have learned not to lend things out too much especially if I really it and want it back.. People try to do that to me .. They will say oh I have that book you want to borrow it?? I'm like no I'm good.. I can get it cause now I'm just paranoid I will forget to return it..  :-*

I have a Twilight illness... Must... Have... It... All!!!

Also random sh*t with Twilight in the name! [emoji12] [emoji12] [emoji12]

I didn't get involved in Twilight until the end of July 2009.  I had a friend who was trying to get me to read the series before that but the killing point for me was her "Its terrific".  Everything was terrific.  I quietly said no and continued to say no until a friend and co-worker (by then I was retired) mentioned that everyone at work was obsessed with Twilight and she had borrowed the series from someone and loved it.  At that point, I figured if Linda loved it, it must be worth it - we share a lot of the same reading tastes.  She loaned me Theresa's copy (with Theresa's blessing) Twilight which I read in like 2 days.  Returned it, did the same and then the same with Eclipse.  Breaking Dawn took a little longer.  Her mother was dying (she was 98) and Linda had moved her home from the Nursing Home to die at home.  The book was in her car but she was slightly pre-occupied.   I put my name on the library list thinking long wait but surprise - it immediately became available.  I picked it up and stopped at Annie's bookstop to see if they had a copy - they did in HC.  By then I'd picked up 1  - 3.  I got 4 and went home and discovered Linda had dropped off Book 4 - which meant I had 3 copies of 4 in my kitchen.  First movie I saw was New Moon over Thanksgiving.  At Christmas I picked up the Twilight DVD.  Saw Eclipse at the theater.  Missed BD 1 and 2 - we kept trying for 1 and between both of us being sick, the weather and the holidays we never made it to BD 1 until New Year's Day.   We got to the theater, drove in, and found a line in front of us with cars ejecting people, cars in back of us ejecting people, and the lobby was PACKED.  We took a look at the line inside and outside, looked at each other and said to heck with it and went home - the movie started in 15 minutes and it would have taken considerably longer to find a parking space, get in line, wait in line, and get into the next showing so that we'd be getting in well into the start of the movie.  We waited for the DVDs.   I own BD 1 and 2 and the expanded version.  No Target and Walmart and different covers etc.  One copy of each from wherever.  One copy of each book from wherever plus Bree Tanner and the illustrated guide.  No multiple copies, no audio, etc.  There's a limit to my obsession including lack of space.    I don't loan anything out unless its to Linda or her to me.  I learned my lesson the hard way with my Star Trek fanzines.  Someone borrowed a copy of Maine(ly) Trek #1 and left it on the floor of their back seat.  It wasn't pretty.  They never got another zine out of me after that.   Permanently ended up on my s+++ list.

Good for you, you can do it!!!
If I were good with finding gifs or smilies I would put one of those in too.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I've cut down drastically, only 4 a day now. I miss it most with my coffee on the back porch with a book.
Why is everything I like so very bad for me?
Sweets,smoking,bad boys.......oh well..c'est la vie( I think that's right)
