Thread #7 - We are crazy talkers here! Join in the fun!

ADULT DISCUSSION HERE, SO TRY TO KEEP IT CLEAN! UM NO, WAIT! IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED, LOOK AWAY NOW!

This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so please play nice

Because we know drypen's watching

Rob baby, I love you any way I can get you.

Rob chooses his roles based on the director, primarily. That has clearly been documented numerous times.

I have not completed the gravity series either....too much .....idk...s*x...drama...I have to read in 3/6 month intervals..lol
I really hope that SM had completed Midnight Sun....I would definitely read that.
Told y'all MttS was weird/different.

On a personal note, I'm trying to quit smoking....it is soooooo hard.
Good luck with the non smoking, I quit at the beginning of this year after 20 years and after the first 6-8 weeks it definitely gets easier hun, there have been plenty of times when I've wanted to smoke but I keep thinking of all the positives: health improvements, extra money etc.
Sending you loads of positive vibes hun, I'm sure you'll kick smoking's a$$.  :-* :)

I think my husband spends over $150 a month on those things.  He keeps trying to quit, but the stress of his job always drags him back.  Just think of how many books you can buy with the money  >:D

A co-worker of mine tried laser therapy to quit smoking and it worked for her. Either way, good for you for at least trying. You go!!

I've never heard of laser therapy for smoking, how does this work? Do they shoot you with laser beams when you have the urge to smoke?  LOL!

My mom is always saying she wants to quit, but I never seem much evidence of her really doing much about it. She tried the e-cigs for a while, til she started reading about them exploding on people.

I am not sure how laser therapy works. That wasn't available when I quit 25 years ago, but I could find out some info from my co-worker if anyone is interested.

Well, I too am reading fanfiction. Currently it is The Other Side of the Door by Mrs_Cullen_2009. It is snowing here but they are saying it won't be sticking around and considering my appointment to put the winter tires on isn't until the 31st, I am ok with that. I am also going to be going to the gym at some point today and have to work on the blanket I am crocheting to raffle off for charity.

Very cool!! My mother in law crochets blankets too.. I thinks it's an amazing gift!! I wish I could make myself go to the gym but when the weather is like this I just want to be lazy..  ^-^

Second Son of a Duke is one of my favorite fanfics.

Today we went apple picking and had great weather - sun and mid 60s (after a cooler start to fall).

Thank you. I really like making something from nothing, and you always need more blankets. Once I am caught up on blankets for the family, I am thinking about making them and selling them on the internet for extra money, but we will see. If you wanted to learn crochet, there are some very good books and you tube videos. My M-I-L taught me the most basic stitch and I bought a book that showed me more. I love doing it. If you want to learn pick up Crochet Made Easy by Coats & Clark. It shows step by step how do it with pictures and words.
