I was wondering about the Colorado Mountain series... I have that one on my TBR list too. And yes... him sneaking into her bed for that long was a little weird, but I've read crazier things. I was just glad to finally find out that she had met him before. At first I thought he was a totally random stranger.
RANT! Why?! Why?! Why?! Do author's do this?!"NO! Don't you ever say that. You have every part of my heart, honey. It's yours, I swear. Baby, please don't leave me. I'll die, Bella. (A/N: I'm one major drama queen. Lol.)" OK, forget the god awful writing for a moment, it's done, I can't rant about that, all I can do is flounce, which isn't an option; but for f*ck sake! An AN smack in the middle of dialogue? Are these people retard! I read another fic today where the AN popped up in the middle of a 'scene' to say 'Lemons left to your imagination" Really?! There should be a law! RANT OVER
Haven't read her Knight series also.
So I don't go on FB often, but I decided to have a nose around and I may or may not of fangirled slightly when I saw this:I really hope this happens - she said that she'd call it "Shake".
FLOVE Knight, I seriously have an ovary explosion every time he tells Anya to call him "Daddy".
See, I wasn't that keen on Knight, it might have been because I read it after Xfire and he just didn't match up to Mr Cross (on top of being a modern day Iceberg Slim) or it might have been because the heroine (can't remember what the heck her name was!) came across as slightly 'special needs' but not my favourite of that elk.
Are there fanfics like Bella Swan: Kidnapper? Something that's funny but ultimately hot and sweet at the same time? But please, I'm not into cheating and fics where Bella is older. Oh, and I LOVE Jealous- or Possessive-ward <3
I haven't read Bella Swan: Kidnapper, but have you tried The Plan by quantumfizzx? It fits the funny, hot and sweet category. There's also Edward Wallbanger by feathersmmmm. And I'm drawing a blank on the name of the story and author, but Bella's in an accident and loses her memory. Edward is her doctor and husband. It's funny and really sweet. Someone on here will remember the name immediately or I'll remember it later today and some back and post.
Yes! Anya (wasn't that it? Ana, Anya, something like that) felt "special", not too bright. I mean, dim bulbs need a hot man as much as anyone, but I just didn't connect to her at all. This just felt like a poor man's 50 Shades/Xfire to me. It was really disappointing to me, as I had loved EVERY KA up to that point.
Hmmmm? I don't know. I love TB, I do; and I love Aha Shakes a hella lot, but, I'm beginning to wonder if this is going to be a case of her having a compulsion to print every thing she's ever written? And it also reminds me of a comment made during the 'to print or not to print' YG/TB fall out.....how much of it is about the writing and how much is it about the attention/controversy that comes from it, though it wasn't put quite so...diplomatically. On another note, to temper my rant of yesterday. There are times when I ask myself, repeatedly, why the f*ck I continue to put myself through the torture that this fandom can be? Mediocre writing,(at best), abandoned fics, slow to crawling updates, crazies (!) perpetual repetition (as if the authors all share one brain) and then out of nowhere, when you least expect it, you accidentally stumble, and I mean fall flat on you face, into sometime really great. And then, for just the time it takes to read a single story, it all suddenly makes sense....
So many people seem to like it, but I thought it was kind of corny. A review on a fanfic I read awhile back finally pinpointed why certain stories bother me, it's because they're written by women who are writing what they think goes through a mans head. The character in Tangled is written really over the top and almost felt like I was reading a caricature of the stereotypical redeemed douchebag. Almost all of the books I read are written by women though, but some just seem like they try too hard when a male is narrating.
So glad I started flouncing! Although now it makes it much harder to identify stories that I've read through and thought about a couple months later after I've flounced; I don't keep track of the flounced stories, so I'll remember a random detail and drive myself crazy trying to locate the story EVEN IF IT'S TERRIBLE!I loooved Aha Shake and probably would have enjoyed the story if I found it under original fiction, but I've already read it so there's no excitement I think that TB really grew as a writer, because some of the earlier stories she wrote and pulled are questionable. There's a book I read recently that kind of reminds me of Edward in Aha Shake, even though I much prefer Edward's character. Tangled by Emma Chase You are not allowed to view links. I know she'll never finish it at this point, but that was something I actually read as a WIP
Not just with respect to a stereotypical redeemed douchebag, but I feel that many writers simply use wish fufillment. Of course I'm sure that men would do the same to women. *shrug* But yes, it's increasingly annoying for me as a reader.

I don't hate you but you are missing out on a really good series. Also love Savitch and Sherlock. Haven't read the latest yet. A friend just picked it up and I'll read it when she's finished which doesn't disturb me much since I've got so many other books I need to read. I never got into Stephanie Plum. I don't care how funny its/she is supposed to be.
Have you read anything that you could relate to or see yourself agreeing with the internal monologue? Or all we all just delusional and writing flowery prose for male characters?

I didn't get past the second chapter of Tangled, but all my GR friends raved about it. I don't know why, it just didn't catch my attention at all.
