Of course there are fics that respresent men accurately, as as I'm sure you'd say there are some novels (or other publication of choice) where men can write a woman decently well enough.

It was one of those fics where everytime an update came in, I saw people talking about it on my twitter feed. Same with Wisp.
See, I wasn't that keen on Knight, it might have been because I read it after Xfire and he just didn't match up to Mr Cross (on top of being a modern day Iceberg Slim) or it might have been because the heroine (can't remember what the heck her name was!) came across as slightly 'special needs', but either way not my favourite of that elk.

Hmmmm? No inner goddess (or whatever Anna's was called)? I did enough the reworkded Crazy In Love soundtrack very apt . I still say though there is no way to do this book 'justice' and get it passed for general cinema release even with a 18 certificate; I see a lot of FTB in this film's future....

POF was really, really long, so I can see why it would be split into a trilogy, but half of the story seemed to drag in my opinion, and would hate to read what's to be the first book since that was the slowest part of the story. Will they keep in the nickname Peaches, do you think? IDK. I just think out of all the P2P stories, POF is one that could seem less likely to read like fanfiction.

FIVE books?!! Good Lord! You say you bought a couple of the books. Have you read them yet and compared them to the fanfic? Of course, I've made my opinion of CW&IA pretty clear on here. I can't imagine plowing through FIVE books. It was bad enough when I thought it was going to be a trilogy. I think there is no fear that I will be revisiting that story, either the fanfic or the published version. It needed serious work to be a decent read and that work would have included making it shorter, not long enough to be FIVE books! Those whiny characters made me nuts! I guess if they got rid of some of the whining and added some action and plot and actual character development and...etc. But the only published fanfic that I've seen that was significantly better than the fanfic was the one that started out as The Perfect Wife. And the published work uses only part of the germ of the idea that was The Perfect Wife.*deep breath* My system is getting over the shock of FIVE books! Excuse me, I have to keep taking deep breaths.
I read Knight after Xfire and though Knight isn't as intense as Gideon, he still does something for me. But I've got agree with Anya not being the brightest bulb - but when is the herione in the book ever made out to be brighter and better than the hero!?! :-XI'm still not feeling it for Dakota being Ana but I deffo wouldn't say no to Jamie. He's definitely one of the hottest serial killers around (see The Fall) and his accent is to die for. I'm not mad at Jamie as Christian Grey either..from what I've seen (trailer) he seems to be able to carry the part. The fault with the casting lays with the author, Grey is meant to be, what? 27 or something? In real life 27 year old men do not have the chops of the fictional Christian Grey, not in the board room, bedroom or life, so when you're reading him he'll never marry with the visual of the 20 odd year old young actors they'd want to cast. She should have made his older...then Mr Fassy could play him! I hated the bloody goddess too! So annoying; I always always try and skip over the 'active subconscious' in stories.I just realised that I made a typo but yes I meant 'enjoyed' Beyonce not 'enough'! OMG!! If you haven't read the 4th one in that series, you are seriously missing out!! In fact just talking about it makes me want to go back and re-read the entire series again!!

Someone on a gossip site said the trailer looked like it was for a serial killer thriller, and I think I'd agree with that assessment! I was just waiting for a shot of police unearthing a body somewhere. I'd actually watch that though.
