I didn't have time to continue though. I'm still stuck in Holder's mind at the moment (Hopeless series by Colleen Hoover - Book 2 Holder's POV). Actually I want to flounce and begin Pressed For Time for 2 days now, but I can't stop reading.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
Is the last book "Finding Cinderella" worth reading?
Finding Cinderella is worth a read but it's about Daniel and Six not Holder and Sky so it's not like you have to read it.  :)

I think I'm gonna read PFT next to see what all the fuss is all about.  :P
Anything to get out of reading the ARCs I'm supposed to be reading.  :D :D

OK let me qualify. It isn't what I'd call angst, by any stretch of the imagination.

...Its very a clever, witty, intelligent fic overall...
So, is this one still a romance? even with depressed edward? LOL   And who is he married to?   (I'm an ExB girl, remember?)

Is the last book "Finding Cinderella" worth reading?

And yes, For The Summer goes to my all-time-favorite-list! Such a wonderful fic. Exactly my taste. I just read the first outtake in EPOV and it instantly brings back all the feelings!
Did you read Losing Hope immediately after reading Hopeless?   I read it much later and I think that made me enjoy Losing Hope all the more because I liked that some of it was repetitive as it reminded me of how much I loved their story.    I thought it was a great followup book.       And I enjoyed Finding Cinderella...    I didn't like it as much as Hopeless/FH, but I thought it was worth the read.  Kinda neat how it fit into the first books.     Speaking of Hoover, have you read the Slammed series yet?

Is For The Summer a schmexy fic? or is it mild on the lemons?

Losing Hope is well worth the read. I think Hoover is one of the best YA author out there, along side Maggie Stiefvater. The Jamie McGuires of this world should take a note from them. I've not read Finding Cinderella, it didn't sound to me as if it added anything to Holder and Sky's story so....

For The Summer is one of my All Time Favourite too. Brilliant story. Well written. I might have to revisit, it's been a while....

I think you've recommended Maggie Stiefvater to me before... I just moved her book, Shiver, up higher on my TBR list.  Glad to know you liked FTS too...  Looking forward to reading that one.  Sounds like my kinda thing!

So far the only hero side story book that I've really felt added a lot to the story, enough to warrant the time AND money spent was Lucas' story from Easy, by Tammara Webber, Breakable. I've skimmed a few others, but didn't feel they added enough to the overall story to bother with.

I mean, it's not like Travis in Beautiful Disaster was some big mystery, he broadcast his thoughts and feelings pretty loudly, even reading from Abby's POV. (abby, is that right??P

Have you read Holder's? Losing Hope. I read that 6 months to a year after Hopeless and I definitely thought he's added value. There's a whole back story in regards to his sister that you couldn't get from Sky's POV. I'm not keen on dedicating a whole book to a hero's POV most are a total waste of time, I agree, but this one really wasn't, IMO. Oh! And Hoover's Point of Retreat which is Will's POV (Slammed 2) but that was moving the story forward, not retelling it.

LOL I haven't even read Hopeless yet, I read Slammed and Point of Retreat, then got bored when I started the whole story over from the guy's POV on their honeymoon in book 3. I guess I need to get to those? I really enjoyed Slammed and PoR.

This is great to hear...  I loved Easy!  For some reason I didn't even realize there was a sequel.   So, does it retell the same story?    I have the sequel for Beautiful Disaster but haven't read it yet... I hear mixed reviews on whether or not it's good.

You need to read Hopeless soon! I think its bound to be the #1 YA book out there...  I don't know anybody who didn't love it.

The thing about the third Slammed book is that you really need to read it way after reading books 1&2.   If I had read it back to back with the first two I would have been majorly disappointed.  It had been at least a year when I read it and I loved book 3 but that was because I enjoyed the retelling part.   It was great to revisit all they had been through...     I remember thinking though that it didn't really add anything new to the story.     With Losing Hope, you actually get quite a bit of new information.   :)

It's not really a sequel.  It's just the same story from Travis' point of view.  Since, as Matron said, Travis' POV was pretty well broadcast even when the story was told from Abby's POV, there's just not that much new ground to cover.

Breakable tells Landon/Lucas' story. It switches back and forth between the day he first sees Jackie in class, and back when his mom was killed, and how much that effected his life. So since a good half of the story is his past it adds a LOT of new information and it's really good. I have a review on GR, I'll link to it:

Not too much angst (I'm not good with heavy angst), just a very good story about two brothers.

I don't want to give up too much of the story.  Anything by LyricalKris is worth reading.
