While we are all talking about boobies, another benefit to small ones, is yours will stay perkier a lot longer than those of us who have bigger ones.
Why are we all talking boobies?  :D But while we are, for the record, I love mine, big as they are. I've recently been measured and depending on the bra I'm either a UK 28 G or a 30 F. Yes its a tiny bit more challenging as I'm pretty small every where else but they're a part of me so... :D

Why wouldn't we talk about boobies 99% of us on this thread has 'em.  :D :D

Woah, hun I totally understand why you find it challenging.
I went shopping with my daughter yesterday (a chore in it's self as I hate shopping  :D) and she ended up having to buy tops that were 2 sizes too big just so they could fit over her boobs, at least having small ones I definitely don't have that problem and like the hubby says I'm shaped like a tree trunk (same size on the top and bottom).  ;D ;D

Yes, Yes, I know; I meant more how did the topic come up as 99% of us on this thread have em? But anyhooo  :D Yeah I hate physical shopping too; while I was standing there having a lovely granny fiddling with me tits I thought. "I can't remember the last time I was in a 'shop' " I tend to do all my shopping online now.

BTW I'm on the 3rd Outlander book now and making my way through a large box of Kleenex  :P Thanks again for the rec whoever it was.. :-*

There comes a time when a girl has to do what a girl has to do.....so, after much debating with myself on whether I wanted to 'give it up' to a man with metal where god never intended, I pulled on my Big Girl Pants (in the shape of a pair of Myla Brazilian cut) and went for it. Fortunately the experience not only f*cking blew my mind but left a very favourable impression on Mr PA, and it was decided, unanimously, that we would 'go steady'......Hmmmm? How soon is too soon to tattoo 'property of Demaris' on my newly adopted appendage?   ;)

Happy for you...ain't nothing like the big "O" to get things into perspective...lol.
Keep us posted on the budding romance.

Flouncing is easy.  You just put the story aside and then forget you were reading it.  You aren't actually flouncing, you just are reading something else for a while.

Pretty soon, flouncing is easy.  ;D ;D ;D

Same  here, I read a  bit then set it aside for whatever reason, then I have a vague recollection of something I want to finish, but no clue what the heck it was, because I don't mark them when I start them, I only mark them when I finish them, and even then, only if they're on goodreads.

I might be giving Demaris a run for her money on how much reading she's doing.   I did 17 books last month.  I've slowed down somewhat this month - only 7 books so far but the month is only half over. I don't have kids but on the other hand I'm sacrificing housework.   Demaris - the boob discussion came up/started when Booked asked her 4 questions for the spread sheet for tightlybound and bra size became the main topic.  Which reminds me - I was going to ask you how you're getting so much reading done between reading, being on here, working, and dating Mr. Right?  One of us is doing something wrong?

For all InDeath series readers of J D Robb - The countdown clock is up on the index page of InDeath.net - 22 days and some odd hours and counting for Festive.   And as one of our British members on that site pointed out - it looks like the U.S. is getting it two days earlier than across the pond this time around - for a change.   Usually its Great Britain although one year Australia had it before the rest of us.  For the last book it happened to be Canada.

I think the only other person that gives Demaris a run for her money is Lex (who's also a member on PTS) who reads 2/3 books (full length novels) A DAY!!! and she works and is married with kids as well.  :o :o

If I read 2/3 books a week I'm dead happy, but that doesn't happen often and as flouncing isn't an option makes it really difficult sometimes.
At least Dem can read fast so even if she's stuck with a crappy book or fic she doesn't have too suffer for too long.  :D :D

I know! Being a slow reader is bad enough. But not being able to flounce bad stories? I would have to give up reading I think.  :( >:( :D :D :D

I didn't used to be able to flounce. But reading fan fiction helped. First it was the WIPs that took so long to update or were abandoned. Next I would get bored in a bad story, so I put it aside for just a bit while I read something else. Then my Kindle died. And I lost all the stories I was reading. Well, they were still on my computer but I had no idea which they were and where I was in each.  So all were flounced.  Soon it became easier. The more stories I started at the same time, the easier it was.  It does help that I can read the end of a story and it doesn't normally ruin it for me.   ;)

I used to be able to flounce really easily, but then I stopped reading altogether (unless you count gossip mags  :D) for years and for some reason when I started reading again I lost the ability to flounce.  :(
There have been some fics/books where I wonder if I'm insane that I like reading so much as they make me wanna just give up all together.
I think that's why I read so many things at once, at least it kinda breaks up the monotony of a bad read.  :P :P

That's impressive....Hmmm? I like a challenge :D :D. But no, the only way for me to read 3 books in a day would be if I was on holiday, it odd because I don't keep track, I can't even remember when I started Outlander; was it 2 days ago? So 3 bible length books in 3 or so days? Not bad, I suppose....By the way I'm on book four now :D

Yeah, a 'no flounce' gene and slow reading would have made me walk away for Twifics for sure!  Not to mention the amount of shit that's self published these days.....

I've decided to wait a while before going back to In death...I've promised myself I'd read all of PD James back catalogue and then started Outlander so she's once again taken a back seat and a friend insists I read the Jack Reacher novels at some point so there is plenty to keep me busy before venturing back to the future..

Demaris probably has me beat, but I'm a pretty fast reader and I tend to read a lot. In the past week I've read 12 or 13 books if I'm counting correctly. It might be more, because I have them scattered throughout various reading apps; iBooks, GoodReader and Kindle. Unlike most of you, I had a lot of spare time up until last week. I work in child care and my kids were out for the summer, so I just bring my ipad along and read while they're off amusing themselves with movies or computer games.

I still don't know what constitutes as a full length novel though. :P Some of the ebooks I get are 200-300 pages and I can easily knock those out within two or three hours. I read Ignite and Burn by RJ Lewis last night, which I found in the Motorcyle Club Hero~ genre, but it was really more about the drama outside of the club. They were alright. I'm still used to reading fanfiction and going by word count, and most of the ebooks I've read lately seem to be in the range of most "full length" fanfics that are usually 90,000-120,000 words. I'd see those and think woo! Bedtime Story!  >:D

What's amazing and kind of strange for me, is that I probably spent close to a year reading fanfic from the middle of last year, up until a couple months ago. Then I got burned out on the same plots and drama and found myself reading ACTUAL BOOKS again. I've read more in the past couple months than in the past five years combined. I'm now making my way through The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh and The Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness after I saw it recced on here!

  • Hi! I'm Ellachanted and I'm a fanfic-oholic.
After 3.5 years I finally read a non-fanfic that wasn't nonfiction. Patricia Cornwall's The Bone Bed.  I like that she's getting away from the drama between the main characters and back into the mystery.

But there's just so many good fanfics it's been hard to switch away.  :P  I can read about two or three books a week if they are about the size of a 400 page paperback. This is when I'm not in school or doing much of anything else.

All I did for at least 2 years was read twilight fanfic constantly and burned out and then went back to regular fiction.   Now I'm slowly adding fanfiction back into the mix.  Language of Flowers is for further down the road.  I'm trying to get through Midnight Rose by Lucinda Rice followed by Power Play by Catherine Coulter followed by Orphan Train (can't remember the author) followed by the new Rose Harbor book by Debbie Macomber, followed by at least 3 more Anne McCaffrey Pern books, followed by Dark Bites by Sherrilyn Kenyon, followed by The Bookstore by Meyler, followed by at least 3 Maeve Bincheys, and god knows what else before I can even think about Language of Flowers and Deborah Harkness plus I have a whole bunch of Nora Roberts to get through still.   I still haven't gotten anywhere near Jack Reacher although its/he has been recommended by people on InDeath.net.    I stopped reading gossip mags years ago - I now read Gossip Cop online for the "real story" - I love that site.   Demaris - whether he's Mr. Right, Mr. Wrong or Somewhere in between he's "still there".  Oh god Super Creep - another person who reads FAST.  I returned 6 books to a friend yesterday to put back on her book swap site to trade and her eyes glazed over and she went "You've read the Pern books already?"   By the way - did you try any of the fanfics I recommended to you last week in a pm?
