I'm a little confused. I'm sorry. I did go into my personal.ini and changed that. And I went into my c:\ and found users and my name but I can't find the AppData. I did find Roaming but inside that is Intel and that is an empty folder? How do I change the file view to see hidden files to see the AppData?

I'm sorry for my tech ignorance. I do really appreciate your help.

*EDIT* I fooled around and found AppData, Roaming and Calibre. There was a zip file in there already named that, I told my computer to go ahead and replace it with the new one. I hope I did okay? Now restarting Calibre and trying it out.
Okay, the updated version is of FFDL is available as a plugin update for those of you who haven't checked. I'm testing it now with TWCS stuff.  And it is working without a problem.

In the personal.ini you do need to change the password thing.  This is mine.  I did have to go to the new site and log in once. My password didn't work and I had to reset it.  Now this could be that I typed it wrong.  I just recommend trying to login before you get frustrated, because it may not have been my dyslexic fingers typing LOL!

My Calibre library folder on my computer is sorted in folders by author... Is there a way to not have it like that? I am much better at story name than author name, for some reason that part just flies out the window.  :)

Yeah, can't change that.  However, when you open Calibre, you can click on the Title column to sort by story title.  That's how I do it. And I normally add to my Kindle through Calibre.  So I rarely look at the actual files.

If you are looking for a particular story and are in Windows, you can open the folder with all the author folders and search for the story.  I do that.  I know it works in Windows 7 or 8.  I think it works in Vista too. I use it a lot.   ;)

Arggh!  I had it working just fine with the plug-in update that you provided.  Then I went and updated with the latest version of calibre and the plug-in and it doesn't work.  I've updated the TWCS site, made sure my name and password are there, logged out and back in on TWCS, closed calibre about half a dozen times, rebooted my computer and it still doesn't work with the latest update.  %$#$%$#

I'm with you, Demaris.  I had to go check out Judith McNaught and got totally caught up in the stories.  I've read several now including Perfect, even though I should be doing other things.

My daughter made me watch the first season of Orange is the New Black, then deserted me and watched the second season with her boyfriend.  I haven't managed to get back to it, but plan to do so.  The last show of the first season left me with my jaw on the floor.  Demaris, you want to watch it with me?

Halloween was wild.  It turned cold Halloween night.  I saw some costumes that didn't cover much and I'm afraid those folks may have regretted their choice - like superman who was wearing only a cape and undies.  The super S was painted on his chest.  My daughter wanted to do a haunted walking tour Halloween night.  I nixed that idea since I figured the crazies would be out that night.  I was willing to do it the next night, but she and her boyfriend opted for a stroll through the French Quarter without the rest of us in tow.

There was a Voodoo Festival going on while we were there with some great groups booked, but we didn't make it there.  We had to be flexible in our schedule due to the family functions we were there for.

I can't remember the last show of the first season I'll have to re-watch, but sure I'll watch the second season with you.

What did you think of Perfect? I really enjoyed that book.

Well, I'm 35% through with book 2 in the All Souls Trilogy and still thoroughly enjoying it!  Thanks for the rec!   I was all set to start Dusty when I finish the trilogy but then you guys go talking about these awesome bodice rippers and I keep thinking they might be right up my alley!   Must stay focused!  Dusty is calling to me.

It's not like you haven't read Dusty already.....sooo

No, Perfect is one of her 'contemporary' books, I use the word contemporary lightly as she wrote this in 1993 (Glen Close was still a sex symbol) I would start with one of her BRs, Whitney My Love is a good place to start, that was the first book I read and I think I mentioned that it was pretty darn good...Almost Heaven, Something Wonderful both are good but have a look at the link; You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  This link give you the books in the various series. I've read all of the Sequel series, all of Second Opportunities, but only one of the Westmoreland (Whitney) might go back and complete that series later.

Well, the old one is still here. If you save the old one over the new one, the way the file is named it will just overwrite the new one.  If that makes any sense. ;)

Oh I'm confused then... it says that Paradise is the first book in the Second Opportunities series.
Will investigate further... wasn't there also a book called Shanna or something like that?  Or was that a different author?   Goodreads is failing me right now.

Yes Paradise is the first in the series but the whole series is set in the 20th century. Technically a BR is a historical novel set at any time before the 20th century. So, as McNaught is famous for BRs, or I should say that's what bought her success, I'd say start with Whitney or something from the Sequel series, which are all historical romances, and work your way to the near present...Capisce?

Shanna was rather rubbish (in my opinion, maybe because I read it after McNaught) and written by Kathleen Woodiwiss.

I try to update everything in my library about once a month. Otherwise, once a week I run the update on WIPs that last updated during the current year.

I have way too many WIPs.  I tried to limit it to stuff I might actually read someday. But with the "grab a page" option, I end up with a lot of junk.   :P

It was complete but she pulled it a while back after someone posted it as their own.  >:( >:(
So I can gather from her A/N she's now consolidating UTBM & LC all into one fic before she starts posting the last instalment of this series.
At last as I've been waiting ages for her to post the final story in this series.  :)

Could be worse, does anyone else remember when SexyLexiCullen posted something stupid like 90+ chapters of one of her fics in a matters of hours - now that was annoying.  :pulling :pulling
