Will do hun, I'm gonna try and start it tonight. I bought it earlier but every time I've tried to start it someone's wanted something from me. I was gonna try and not cave and read it until the final book came out but I love Gideon too much.
I read it today. It was ok. Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. I felt like she was just prolonging the story.I still love Gideon flaws and all.Loopy, I wanna show his pic, just as you did with elevator Rob!!! Naked Rob at the piano is for my private stash, thank you for that.My iPad is still acting shitty, at least now I can see spoilers.
What is there left to say?! It been talked to death and caused more arguments than any fic written, it feels like. I'd say go to the Dusty group on Facebook (they're still all 'talking'), but I really like you Kim so I won't.
I reallllly want to read the new Gideon book! I love him, but I was disappointed how the previous book left so much open when it was supposed to be the last of the series. I think I need to try to wait until the rest of the books are out. Plus, then maybe this one will be a little cheaper. I don't think I was around back when everybody was arguing over it but I've heard mention of the heated discussions. I think people definitely have strong feelings for Dusty! I'm soooo tempted to go checkout that facebook group, but I'll try to restrain myself because I canNOT stand online drama. "Ain't nobody got time for that!"
Lol, maybe I should do that more often. As annoying as Sylvia Day has been about the Crossfire series You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login has earn her some major brownie points, it really made me laugh. I wonder if it would work if anyone did choose to use it.
Hi guys! Work has been the pits. Stressed out. Not sure how things will pan out... To catch up a bitElla - sending you hugs and kisses. I have remembered to pray for you these past few weeks. Glad to hear the surgery went well. Hope you have a speedy recovery! Loopy - soon to be a grandma! Wow! Good luck and i hope your daughter has an easy pregnancy. Eacalltheway- did not have that problem when i upgraded my ios. My "fix" if my ipad hangs or has some weird things happening is to completely power off/shut down. My absolute worst was i had to restore but since i back up/sync with my PC at least once a month, the restoration was not that painful. Hope your ipad goes back to normal. To the angst hoors, keep on rockin'! Am sure your tribe will increase but am still a weakling and with all the stress i am in now, soooo not touching any of those books M/M, am a fan. Have not read that many of those (36 per my goodreads library) but i am lucky to have been pointed to the good ones by Matron. It's not all about the sex like the last series i read by Marie Sexton is more about their relationships. I enjoyed it. My absolute favorite is Crossing Borders by Z.A. Maxfield. Highly rec this, has such memorable snarky dialogues.Rob's hair - not a fan. Saw his bit at the Hollywood Award show, he's really not comfortable presenting. He looked good though despite the hair and attitude. Saw flashes of kstew, she is really a pretty girl IMO.Gideon Cross - love love love! Hate that it extended to 5 books. Am just 262 pages in of book 4, was truly tempted to call in sick today so i can finish it. agree, all of these seem "unnecessary" but more gideon is ok with me.
Hey BookedDo you know what I do when work get me down? Delegate. And sit with a good book! hence I was able to get through 3 books in a day.... You know I saw a photo of Kstew on the red carpet of that awards show and I also thought ' Err? She looks pretty!' She didn't have her usual SAF expression on so I did what seems to pass for news these days, jumped to the conclusion that the only reason she used to look so 'sour' was because she wasn't where she wanted to be before...I too would have a pissed of expression on my face is I was pretending to be something I'm not.I really should make some headway through my Fic TBR but I have no idea what to read?!...Or if I really want to read on or just think i should I'm rather worried I might be over FF
BTW I started (and finished) K.A Linde's Record trilogy...I was rather surprised at how much I enjoyed it (but don't get it twisted, it is not 5*!). The last in the series came out today....and yes I finished that one too
Damn! I would love to be able to delegate and just read all day. Though really? Since I have a lot of control in my job over what and when I do stuff, the stress isn't there. And having some of my co-workers working for me would be extremely stressful. So I'm always glad my boss doesn't push the issue. Being a boss can be the worst job in my opinion. I wonder if working with someone like Julianne Moore helped. You always wonder when a director/producer and an actor/actress are having sex, how much of it is for the part. Whether the actor/actress thinks it will keep the director wanting her for the next movie or whether he actually "demands" it? I don't know. The whole industry is weird. When your job is always pretending to be someone else, do you really know who you are? And you get all the attention for being something you are not? I'm always surprised any marriages last in Hollywood. Okay, maybe I should wait for the drugs to wear off before posting again. LOL! Lovely codeine.
Ouch about the bed! Hopefully you weren't too sore after [emoji21] I work from home... Which sounds like a dream, but imagine taking your kids to work with you everyday. It's really hard to balance! I'm super grateful, but it is stressful.LOL! I totally get what you're saying! Your drug induced rant makes sense to me! [emoji51] [emoji51] [emoji51] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2]

I jealous of you amazingly fast reading skills!!! [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2]
You know Loopy, I saw that message while I was zoning in and out in the hospital but forgot to mention it when I got home. Congrats on the grand-baby! You get another one around the house without having to do the labor. And he/she will be able to play with your other two, which will be either really great or a horrible amount of noise. But frankly, with all the animals and everything? Being a kid at your house must be fun.
BTW Ella/Loopy/ anyone who knows the answer, have you ever downloaded a book into calibre tried to convert it and found it still had it's DRM? If so what did you do? Thanks

That's what I was afraid of when I heard it had jumped from a trilogy to 5 books, she's just dragging out to make all she can out of it.

I've downloaded Captivated it but if this story really has two more books before completion then I'm definitely not reading it now....How frustration!I loved that absence note, nice touch. But she'd need to do a hell of a lot more than that to get me back on side...greedy b!tch...2 more books?! Disgraceful....BTW I started (and finished) K.A Linde's Record trilogy...I was rather surprised at how much I enjoyed it (but don't get it twisted, it is not 5*!). I just think neither her or RP were happy in the bullshit that was the Twilight/romance saga madness....and she looked it, we've all said her acting skills isn't necessarily what gets her her acting jigs? Though maybe that might be unfair, I'm going to force myself to sit and watch some of her new stuff just so I can make a unbiased opinion...I had a giggle at your lovely codeine post BTW Ella/Loopy/ anyone who knows the answer, have you ever downloaded a book into calibre tried to convert it and found it still had it's DRM? Where is the book from - Amazon, Nook etc? Have you updated your tools lately? Last time this happened to me I had to uninstall the latest tools I had in-plugged to Calibre and re-install the older version of tools I had. This probably isn't useful to you at all.
Yes, all of the time. I found the DRM remover only works on about 20 books at a time. After that it is hit and miss. And some still can't be converted once the DRM is removed. Similar to those weird PDFs where the book is just a picture of pages of the original book. Someone was probably saving time/money by not actually reprinting it. I found it more in my self help type books - where fonts would be different for a quote, or there would be diagrams. Most of the regular books convert great.
Have you read her Avoid series - another good read, even if the main characters are annoying as hell.
Lol, our group is already growing as us angst h00rs know how to party.

I work from home mostly as well. My four-legged children can be very interruptive, but no where near as bad as real children. So I feel for you. Our work at home agreement says you still have to have daycare. But what about when your kids don't really need daycare anymore? We were latchkey kids when my oldest brother was 15 and my youngest was 8. It worked but there were a lot of us. No one was ever home alone. But the house was usually very noisy and would not have been conducive to work at home. I spend a lot of my time thinking about how I want to do something or say something and very little time actually doing it, it seems. So I'm glad I work at home because when I'm flipping through a magazine or book while doing said thinking, they probably would think I was goofing off. Sometimes you have to distract the brain to get it to work LOL!
The book is from Amazon...So would you both suggest I reinstall the deDRM tool? (is that what you meant Ella? That it works for about 20 books and then you have to reinstall?) I have to tell you I can barely remember how I got to download, install and work in the first place! I'll give it a go but I'm dreading it just in thought.....I have it downloaded and I'm about to start it....I'm nervous because it's rare that Good Book Apple falls from the same tree twice...And how to get ghetto...
