Have you tried asking over on the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, someone over there might know something.
Looking at the mobireads forum for Calibre and iTunes, it sounds like Apple blocked the use some time ago. I'm not totally understanding the work arounds. But then again, I find people using it. You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginRun both as administrator. If that doesn't work, you can always highlight the stories you want, right click and send to device? I'm blanking. Sorry. I will get on in a minute. But really? I only have minimal knowledge of Apple computers. My old ibook mostly just sits in a drawer. Complete waste of money.
What are you using to read on you iPad?
So I've upload the iOS reader plugin so that I can configure another eReader and guess what? I keep getting an error message; so tried to register to mobileforum so they could help and guess what? The 'human verification' does not work......to say I am pissed is putting it lightly
I use iBooks, but I have stanza and a few others like Kindle, nook, Overdrive etc for back up.I now just email the books to myself and d/l them that way to my iPad as that's the easiest way to do it unless I wanna spend the time transferring from iTunes and I'm too lazy for that.
I have been saving ff from the Calibre to the Google Drive for Booked mostly. So I've been grabbing from there for my ibooks. Very easy to download from the Drive. I've also used Copy.com. Using the Copy website is a pain. But I have my backup library there and it has been working with Calibre. And the iPad app works well for downloading books into iBooks. I only have the current iTunes on my desktop because the DRM removal doesn't work past 10.53 or so. The DRM removal program writer quit updating a few years ago and no one has been able to figure it out to update it. Darn it.
