That's a bummer! Hope it's just somewhere in your house! I would be putting curse words if that happened to my ipad.

This is why i carry a bag big enough to fit my ipad. I can't trust myself to just carry it freely when i go out as i might put it down somewhere and forget i did so. Just last week, i was in the restroom of a crowded restaurant. I could hear a teenager asking me through the door, as i was peeing  , if i could see her gadget in the ledge. Of course, it was long gone as i think i was already the 3rd person in that stall since i lined up. I could feel her loss but, like a mother, my thought bubble was "bet if you were the one that paid for that with your own money, you would have taken better care of it."  Seriously, as i get older, i tend to misplace things around the house more often. Reason why i try to be careful with my stuff when i am out in the mall bec once you misplace it there, say bye bye forever! 

Its still missing... I threatened my children with NO CHRISTMAS until its found!  *ahahahaa.. 

They were playing games on it the last it was seen!!!

LOL!!!  Another person with no kids.  Though really, I don't let my husband use mine for long either.  Really, he doesn't actually ask to use it.

Ok, I'm working on this now, and of course, running into issues.

First in installed Dropbox, it's still syncing my files. Then I installed Calibre, but when I try to point it to any of my libraries in Dropbox, it's throwing up errors. It loaded the fanfic library fine, but when I try to load the main book library (the one with all the real books!) it tells me that no library exists there yet. Is this because it's still syncing, or did I goof something up?

Have you read "Isabella After Dark" by Oliviamk1218? Would you recommend it?

While I'm using one, I know where the other is at all times they have a draw next to bed where they are kept while I sleep.
The first thing I do (even before sorting the kids out) is check that they are still okay.  :DYour kids are lucky hun, I won't even let my eldest daughter (and she's 16) near either of my iPads. If she really wants to use one, she can get her own. 
I'm so on track for winning Mother of the Year. 

LOL! I know what you mean.  Mine takes forever to sync. 

Lol, I've still not "dipped my toes back in" yet as I've only just finished the ARCs that I had to read.
One of them is definitely gonna give me nightmares as it starts in 1st person only to swap to 3rd person.
I emailed the author that she needs to re-write the whole thing before it's even safe to send it out as an ARC again. 

I liked CW&IA, though I've not read the published versions (there's 5 books, I think) of it yet even though I have them.  ;DOMG hun, that is so me as well. My iPads are practically soldered to my body, it's been known for the hubby to have to pry them out of my hands to get schmexy (and on the odd occasion just not bother at all  ).
