I never got into Star Wars but I agree Han was so much better than Luke! I can probably quote/sing very word of Funny Girl [emoji23]
I could do that for the Wizard of Oz. And maybe the Sound of Music. I love musicals, but my husband doesn't. So I don't watch them much any more.
"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Gone with the WindAlthough when Rhett Butler sweeps Scarlett into his arms and carries her up the stairs to have his wicked way with her, that's pretty hot, too.
Almost any scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
See, I never got the appeal of Ferris, and so many people quote it as one of their favourites. I might have to watch it again...
This would have been my second choice. I love the costuming in GWTW. So beautiful. They don't make movies like that anymore.

It seems to be working now....Ok so it's not The Office spread over 8 books. That's good, just checking. I'm weary of FF authors taking their FFs and trying to wring every last penny they can out of them...I never read the FF version of Gabriel's Inferno but I thought the first book was just fantastic, then the second book was just so so and I'm now reading Redemption and it's so weak I can barely fathom that it's by the same author! I'm struggling to finish it to be honest, so sad
So I'm now off from work for Christmas, whoop whoop! And as is tradition I've just finished watching Funny Girl for the 100th time...The scene when she's (Barbra Streisand) on the tug boat trying to catch-up with Nick Arnstein singing Don't Rain on My Parade is one of my favourite scenes in a film ever! I still get goose pumps. Anyway I was thinking I so loved hearing who everyone's first TV boyfriend was I'm now wondering, what everyone else's favourite film scene is. Twilight films not allowed!.. :D
I've only managed to read Gabriel's Inferno the others in the series are on my (never ending) TBR. Is it wrong that I've never watched Funny Girl or the Sound of Music (or Star Wars) . But I can quote every single line from The Panic in Needle Park and My Own Private Idaho, which turns out isn't very useful at all.
Gabriel's Inferno was great, the rest? I'd say skip them if you don't want to be disappointed.Funny Girl was on BBC2 on Saturday and I Tivo'd it....but you can get it online...I've not seen any of those films...but I know I really should as its a fail on my part. Loop you have to give your favourite scene/s
"I love you!""I know"Yeah. I loved Han Solo. I know I was supposed to love Luke. But even as a teenager, his whining annoyed me. I'll probably think of other parts of movies but that's the first that popped into my head.
I Funny Girl!!!
First thing that popped in my head:"Where shall I go, what shall I do?!?!""Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn"**SWOON** Clarke Gable... My favorite story of all time
Same here... Although, he's a trooper sometimes and will stick it out for me. Majority of the time though I end up alone on the couch *aahhahahaa!
"Ferris Bueller, you're my hero." "You killed the car" "My name is Jeanie, but most guys call me Shawna"
