This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I'm only 13 chapters in so far but it's so good. I totally get what you meant about Charlie.
It's only been since the latest update, I think I'm just gonna go back to the last version and see how that works.

There is something going on but I don't know what it is. I can download some without a problem and others get the equivalent of a timeout error. Using the standalone version of FFDL was slow as well. So I think there is something wrong at FFnet.

Oh no! I hope they're not tinkering again at ffn!

I haven't updated in awhile... that could be why

I updated just before Christmas and it was working fine before that.

Reading some of the feedback on the latest update I'm not the only person complaining about replying on forums.

Im quite new to fanfic compared to you guys and haven't really made any lists but I would love to be able to compile a list of the stories I've read and the fanfics that I want to read that I may come across.
Reading a few previous posts I've got the sense that some of you use goodreads to make these lists?
Can someone please tell me how to do that and how we add fanfic on goodreads?

Because they're classing it as a novella but it's actually longer than a novella but not as long as a full length novel.

But these days I don't think most books can be classed as full length novels.

No they can't, in fact it seems to takes four ebooks to equal one pre-ebook, book; if you know what I mean...

Me too. So far it's a mixed bag. I will try to update 200 WIPs and most will either update or tell me an update is not available, but then I'll get about 20 or 20 that have an error message that basically says it timed out...

Ok, glad that it wasn't just me. It did end up working but it took a few trys and even tried to reboot my computer to help it.

I use the Calibre program and have a various libraries including a TBR one.

I think most of us use a mixture of devices to sort out our Twific libraries mainly Excel spreadsheets, and Calibre; if you only want to list then Excel should work but for 'storage' then Calibre. I don't think using Goodread is the best bet for making any kind of lists of Twifics, I'd use Goodreads only to review etc.
